FINALLY got the chance to watch the Rose Bowl that I had recorded. Michigan had an amazing first half, they really went after Milroe on X. And what was with Mclaughlin, the Tide Center? - seemed like he could make a half decent snap to save his life. Poor Milroe was making below the knee and shoe-top saves all game.

Im not sure what happened to Michigan during the 2nd half...they got out played in the 3rd Quarter. They kinda lost their heads for a bit...But they pulled it together and played the 4th Q and OT like they had the early stages of the game.

Mike, you were right when you said Alabama lost because for most of the game they played as they had during much of the regular season...struggling on both sides of the ball and squeeking out a win.

If they had really showed up to Win, they should have come out playing as they did against Georgia, rather than how they struggled during the Season. No wonder they hovered around 8 or 9 until.they got voted in over Florida State. Honestly, Im surprised they were 12-1 and not 7-5 or 6-6. As much as I dont like Nick Saban these days...credit where credit is due. He always puts together a fantastic program, and yes he is probably a hard ass, but he expects and often gets the best out of his players, and that is why I think they still managed to get to the Bowl with a 12-1 record.


But huge congrats to Michigan for their gutsy play and Rose Bowl WIN. Looking forward to Monday night against WASH.
