EDIT: This thread has now been re-purposed for college football discussion. NFL talk is happening over here: The NFL ThreadIt's August. That means NFL pre-season starts this month and college football starts next month. And by football, I mean handegg, that good ol' American version.  Everyone feel free to share your allegiances here, talk shop about the season, do your fantasy drafts if you like. Personally, I don't follow NFL at all. I was born and raised going to The Swamp for college games, so all of my passion lies in the pageantry of college ball. My signature clearly states that I bleed Orange & Blue, but I love watching any good SEC game that's on and any good out-of-conference match-ups. Planning on going to LSU, UGA, and South Carolina (can't wait to "welcome" back Muschamp) of the 2016 schedule. What about you lot? |

I'm more of a college football fan than NFL. I went to Haskell (Lawrence, Kansas), so the Jayhawks kind of rubbed off on me, but I did my graduate degree in Norman, OK (Oklahoma Sooners) and they are my #1 team I follow. The NFL team I support is the Dallas Cowboys because my grandparents use to have season tickets back in the 90s and early 00s, so I ended up going to quite a few games when I was way younger. I still have a football signed by Deion Sanders which is like my favorite thing ever football related.

I should've added in my earlier post, I too like watching College football. My team is Alabama Crimson Tide. Hard to say if they'll make it back to Championship game again since a few players from the previous season moved on to the NFL

Who's your CFL team then? I don't really follow the CFL anymore but in the past I rooted for the Argos. I follow it occasionally since my aunt is from Canada (Edmonton Eskimos!), and several of the college players I follow end up in Canada when they get missed by the draft. |

I've been a fan of the St. Louis Rams since the early 2000s, though I haven't actually watched a whole lot of NFL the last few years admittedly.
For CFL it's of course the Calgary Stampeders, seeing as how this is my hometown =P
