I once had 6 weeks between the end of a college school year and the start of my regular summer job. I took a job in a book binding factory that was hiring temp workers for a rush job. It was essentially making thousands of copies of a yellow pages book.
My job consisted of spending 12 hours a day walking between pallets of news print and carrying armfuls of the stuff to be loaded into machines. At other times I actually worked these cutting machines that could lop off your hand in the blink of an eye.
It was a "character building experience"
What was your worst job?

Not really a bad job, as such, but I was just bad at it, which made for a short and uncomfortable experience.
I worked for a liquor store and the guy I replaced had been there like 20 years and knew everything (and I was only 21), and I kept stuffing up.
Ironic as it may seem, given how much time I spend in the Drinkquisition, booze and I don't appear to mix well professionally. So we decided to just be friends.

They call the company Mountfield.
You go look them up a bit. I worked the goods dispensary. Meaning they chose, paid, and came to the sorry bastard in front of the store to get their bullshit.
Best cocksuckers were the idiots with expensive SUVs, wearing expensive clothes, and obviously spending more time than is healthy in the gym. Thinking how much superior they were. Spoiler alert, at that time in my life, I hauled a tonne, two, sometimes three between my little warehouse and their cars, and I had plenty of (were I to wish so) improvised weapons at hand. They wouldn't live a minute had they tried anything. Especially considering I had nothing to lose in my life back then. That makes... for the most dangerous opponents.
But hey, hauling stuff IN their cars wasn't my job. Dispensing the goods was. The moment it left my warehouse, might as well be a fresh fired fire-and-forget missile! Means... some of the worse customers were told to have fun, and when they wanted to report me to my superior, they found out THAT SHIT AIN'T WHAT THEY'RE PAYING ME FOR, IT'S SOMETHING I DID TO NOT DIE OF FUCKING BOREDOM.
Job sucked, time sucked, money sucked, nearly got fucked over by the company... Good times. And the capo ti tutti capi was a proper fucking prick. Believe they changed the definition of said word for his name in dictionaries. If he had his way, I wouldn't be where I am now. Studying. Actually having something to maybe look forward to in life. Makes me wonder whether karma caught up with him. Haven't really heard of the person in years now... Oh well. If it didn't, it probably will, no point worrying about it.

I was a bureaucrat for three years. The sad thing is that it could have been an enjoyable job. But our supervisor was arbitrary and capricious. He had been excellent at my level, so of course they promoted him beyond his ability. Most groups that did what we did had minimal turnover. Very few of us ever made it past three years.

Instructor for shooting sports at a local day camp. Worked there for about six months, as we would have different groups coming through the facilities all summer. 8 hour days of standing around in 95-105° (35-40°C) heat making sure rowdy children followed the range rules and didn't shoot each other. Pay was shit, the kids were little shits for the most part, and it sucked all the fun out of handling rifles and archery equipment for me.
As a result of that job, I now have a Pavlovian response that makes me despise anyone younger than 14, and nearly gave up my own competitive shooting career.

Gas station (college summer job) attendant. It was a gas station/store/booze store/propane thingy, so it was a bit more involved than I assumed going into it. The boss was an 'awesome' combination of hard to reach and demanding. Also, the pay sucked. I started as the newest employee. I ended as the most senior by leaps and bounds... In less than three months.
Dealing with assholes is a valuable skill, and so's finding the humor in any situation so you can put up with it. Or so I told myself.
But with all the hours I got (since everyone in their right mind quit), even with the shitty pay, I put away some pretty serious bank. Plus, turning in my two weeks' notice felt great.
And that is the long and complicated story of how trilobitederby decided next time she needed money, she was working construction, as retail suckkkkkkkkkssssss.

My first job at a software company was a horror because the owner was an utterly choleric guy who was bad at project planning. He'd haul in a new project and demand an estimation about the time it would take us to complete it. Then he would decide that he wanted to offer the prospective customer a competitive price and halve that time, which resulted in godawful crunch time for our department. I won't ever forget the moment he wandered into the office at 4 AM and said things like "are you guys even doing any work?".
And he was a choleric who apparently subsisted on fifteen cups of coffee per day. Each day he'd spend at least one hour of ordering the employee he was currently most unhappy with to his office and yelling abuse at them at the top of his lungs. He even did that to his wife, whom I've seen coming out of his office in tears more than once. When it turned out that customers in the building found this rather offputting, he immediately took action. No, he didn't yell and shout less. He soundproofed his office.

No real job. I can't do physical jobs for more than 1 hour (10 minutes if it's a heavy work) and I don't have proper knowledge, degree or nepotism to get a desk or teacher job. I'm thinking about expanding my knowledge about business/trade/economics, so maybe someday I'll get a job. Assuming I'll be still alive.
I guess writing my book is a time consuming and difficult job tbh. I need to read a few more books (like about 3000-5000 pages) about difficult subjects before I can write a decent book. I can summarize it in a long article now (about 50 pages), but it won't be very valuable.
In university working with students on a few projects was a horrible experience. I prefer to do it alone, instead of doing 65% of the work in a 3+ members team.

Years ago I worked at one of our universities' canteen which had about 4500 guests per day. You can probably imagine the amounts of food that had to be prepared. The job was pretty hard, you were mostly standing/walking around all day long, lifting, carrying and pushing heavy stuff. The worst part was the blatant sexism that was going on in that place. Women were by default assigned to the cold food area, so we had to prep the fruits and salads and that shit every morning while the men were cooking.
During opening hours we (as in 'the women') were responsible for overseeing the food distribution. Which basically means to clean up after the pigs that were called "guests". Not all of them were, of course, but many didn't give a fuck if they left a meter long trail of sauce behind on the counter. Some would be filling up their trays and plates just to plop them down somewhere for you to get it and put the perfectly good food into the bin just because they realised they had to go somewhere all of a sudden. They couldn't be bothered to talk to you and ask if you could get rid of it for them, no. Just leave it wherever you stand, one of those sub-humans will come and clean up after you. Yes, I say sub-humans because that's how you get treated by many of those people.
During those four hours you were not supposed to sit down or anything. You were allowed to the loo, of course, but even if you wanted to just have some water you would need to quickly dash into one of the storage rooms where no one could see you. Try standing next to a pizza oven that has 250°C for a while without feeling the need for water every five minutes...
If you weren't busy cleaning up after people you might have been assigned to help at one of the front cooking stations like the grill or the wok, which was stressful and hot, but at least the guys working those stations were super nice and it was fun working with them.
If you had it particularly bad you would have to distribute food. That had to be implemented, because normally you would pay per portion for everything. And the size of that was basically determined by how much you could manage to get on one plate (or into one bowl etc.) So, when we had some stuff that the guests REALLY liked, they tended to not take one piece of roast beef, or maybe two, no, they would take ten. Just because they can and they are greedy. To prevent that, some poor soul had to oversee the whole thing. Of course then people would start arguing with you that the person before them got a muuuuch larger piece and theirs is way smaller and how that is unfair and blah blah blah. The pieces were machine cut and the difference were maybe 5 grams at the most, so yeah.
I really started hating people during that time. Also, I hated how much food went to waste every single day. Often because people were greedy and built a tower of food on their plate and then ate only a quarter of it. I also hated my boss for not letting me cook because I'm a woman. (On a side note, I was there to get more experience doing exactly that, since I was in my second year of training at that time.)
Yeah. That was the worst job I ever had. Since then I'm always making sure to be especially polite and friendly to everyone working at a canteen or sth like that.

When I worked from 11pm to 7:30am as a security guard. Wasn't so much the hours, always been a night owl (except sleeping during the day was often a hassle cause people couldn't shut the fuck up outside and shit). But what got me was being so fucking bored cause I was by myself in the middle of a no cellphone or wifi signal. Not to mention it was about a 30-40 drive from home while driving a gas guzzler. Worked that shit for over two years.

Crop-picker. I did that every summer from about age twelve to fifteen. I picked various crops, but the worst by far was trimming goddamn asparagus for 8-10 hours a day, in 90-100 degree heat. It has to be picked really methodically.
To this day, the sight of asparagus is deeply triggering to me (I still eat it, though, mostly out of spite).

8-12 hours a day, 6 days a week.
We head to use safety shoes. They are heavy and uncofortable, so you can discover how badly feet can hurt. It never goes away (which is surprising).
