Sometimes I can one hit two destroyer on Gold with Cobra RPG. Sometimes I can't even one hit one destroyer, only taken out the shield. How does the cobra work on the ascendent, hydra, and destroyer? Does it do more damage close range?
1. Can cobra one hit an ascendent with the orb still around him? 2. Does cobra do more damage when you are close range? 3. Does cobra work on precision damage as well? 4. Does cobra one hit destroyer ONLY after you take out the two turrets first? Or you have to wait for the destroyers to do the charge heavy attack and wait for the red core to show up?
I just want to use my cobra in a better way. So far the game has been confusing to me as of how cobra works. Any input is appreciated

Cobra works very simply.
1) Shoot cobra at sharpshooter and strip its shields. 2) Shoot second cobra at sharpshooter to erase his health and kill him.

Cobra's supposed to damage Ascendants through shields now, not enough to kill though. I will test and see how much damage it dealt exactly. Cobra is the biggest nerf there compare to ME3MP. It is like the Andromeda Initiative got ripped off bc the vendors knew these guys are not going to file a complaint about inferior Cobra.....

Any input is appreciated Shoot cobra at destroyer when it opens up, no need to kill the turrets first...other bosses take multiple cobras to kill...3ish and you can't spam them as there is some sort of protection..so shoot in-between/detonate so it takes 2. A cobra primes enemies for a short bit so after the cobra, detonate that fire combo....

Think lenny was the one testing it. Cobra does a different amount of damage to every unit. Gets weakpoint bonus, which is why you can kill a Destroyer with a single shot if cannon port is open (8x multiplier).

Sure as hell not to kill, I watched a full health Raider survive a Cobra today, they feel borderline useless and they're only utility is OHKing Destroyers. I miss my ME3 missiles, ugly as all hell and I always did the ladder glitch to make it invisible but god do I miss firing one of those babies off and watching as 7+ mobs just vanish. Not this bullsh** were I fire off a Cobra and NOTHING DIES lol We should be able to carry like 10-20 of them because to kill anything that's full health you usually have to fire off 2.

Sticky grenade with the armor damage perk and the tactical cloak bonus does more damage to a Fiend than a cobra, and I can throw 3 ore more of them at once. Cobra is ONLY good to take care of Adhis, if you aim is shitty it will at least ignite them so you can watch them suffer before detonate a fire explosion on their carcasses.
