I don't care if it's falling off the couch reaching for a beer while playing, I want to hear about it.
I'm thinking all that right stick aiming I did yesterday is why the joint in my thumb is a bit swollen this morning. Might have to play it safe and not play Mass Effect today. And this sucks.

Closest I've come to this was an occasion when, on successfully extracting after a difficult match, I punched the air in celebration, somehow managed to catch my glasses with my arm, knocked them off my face and bent the frames slightly.

One time I was playing and was in my socks sliding my feet back on the hardwood floor. I slid my left foot back and then suddenly felt this sharp pain. A piece of wood was sticking up from the floor and got caught on my sock and as I slid back it impaled the bottom of my heel. A big ass splinter went in about half an inch and I practically screamed. I left the game I was in the middle of and had to tend the wound. The whole piece was probably about one and half inches long and a third of that was in my foot. Took a pair of needle nose pliers to pull it out. Quite a bit of blood but thankfully it didn't impale any softer part or it would have bled even more. That's my story.

I have a serious Arc-Pistol-Syndrome... Seriously though... My hand becomes a claw when I use that pistol too much Such a pity for 'tis my favorite gun Other than that: had a bruise once after hitting my desk ... Slightly enraged... After yet another sync kill

(Actually RSI, but close enough.)

My pneumothorax manifested as I was playing ME3 in 2015 summer. I still remember that game. I was playing with Sumarizook, a non-BSN friend on Ghost as BW Drell Assassin. I was in the door of the building which is right against the starting position when I felt sudden pain in my lungs as one of the bubbles popped on the top of my right side lung. After the game I went to the hospital. After they fixed me I chose not to undergo surgery as the next semester was about to begin and I didn't want to miss out. Half a year later, one day before the first day of the exam period, it happened again. I was already preparing for 2 weeks for the hardest exam of the semester so I told my mother that I will do the exam before going to the hospital. I went to sleep, woke up in the morning, rode the train to the university. Got an A+ in Biochemistry 2 with a half collapsed lung (badassest thing I've ever done) and then went back home and into the hospital. This time I did undergo the surgery so the issue on my lung has been fixed permanently. I was just browsing and got a sudden urge to share this story as I've only told a couple of my online friends before.

Oh, it's Xan, not Xen Waaaaait, you were playing a Drell? On Ghost? Probably Hazard? Rain. Kepral sydrome! Which is basically cystic fibrosis which mostly affects the lungs. It all makes sense now. And you say doctors just fixed it willy nilly?

I bruised my hand last summer from punching a monitor in immense babby rage after dumbfat no-dodge turian soldier got sync-killed by a banshee. The bruise lingered for a long time and spread, which coupled with the fact that I was feeling tired, made me suspect I was anemic. Turned out I was, and anemia was also the only indicator that I had cancer of the lymphatic system, which has since been treated and cured.
If not for fat turian being fat, I might not have ever realized there was anything wrong and it would have been a disaster. Turians are just That Good

Oh, it's Xan, not Xen lol, I made the same mistake too and wondered why she changed her avatar to non-Quarian. Even looked extra careful to see if a Quarian was in there. Then read another topic where Xen was herself and that's when I made the connection to Xan's forum return. Welcome back, Xan.
