Suvi's theory is that they objected to the Jardaans' life creation technology, while SAM suggests that they may have been a splinter faction of Jardaan. One thing that caught my attention though is that if you search around the Remnant City, you find out that the Jardaan apparently thought of the angara as their heirs. This makes me think that the angara might not be the first sapient race that the Jardaan created.
What if the "adversaries" were an earlier creation? If the angara are the successors of the Jardaan, maybe the earlier creations were angry at being rejected. What if the "adverseries" created the Scourge and set it to target the angara and everything related to them so that they could take on the title of the Jardaans' heirs? It would be sibling rivalry on a galactic scale.

I was thinking that too. The Angara were made to live in the Heleus Cluster, but that means others might have been created for other Clusters and revolted against the Jardaan, or like you said, meant to inherit Heleus, but then the Angara were found to be the better species and they were tossed aside.

*Snort*if true its just the same thing as Andrastian views on the Maker, the fade, and humanity.

*Snort*if true its just the same thing as Andrastian views on the Maker, the fade, and humanity. That's the exact vibe I got in MEA. It feels as if DA's lore (especially DAI's) inspired them to create a similar lore in ME. I see the Jardaan and Angara like the elves and the dwarves. The vaults to me are like the Deep Roads, and the Angara being a shell of something once greater are like the elves.

It'd be another nice twist if the Kett end up being that creation, a creation of that creation, or a natural evolution of that creation.

It'd be another nice twist if the Kett end up being that creation, a creation of that creation, or a natural evolution of that creation. The Archon inherited many species genetics from beyond the 80 years ago invasion of Heleus, so they seem to have been around for a long time, though their homeworld is in Heleus.

In thinking about the Jardaan enemy being called "the Opposition" it does seem to imply that they are a known quantity. You know, like "opposition party" (except with weapons). In contrast, the Kett would probably be labeled something like "the Enemy" because they come from outside. I can imagine the Opposition being a splinter faction of the Jardaan who opposed the creation of the Angara. It's not even a stretch to imagine something similar coming about in real life if a new race of humanity was genetically manufactured. People would have some violent opposition to it for any number of reasons, like it "goes against nature" to "it's an abomination against my deity" to "they're a threat to us".

Well, if I'm understanding the Kett they already are, because they transform Angara to make new Kett. So, technically the Kett and I assume the Archon is an "offspring" of the Jardaan.

Except the kett existed in some other corner of Andromeda long before they ever discovered the angara and started exalting them. Do you think the other kett back home look completely different because they're based on other exalted races?
