EOS visibility to get places?

It's only in the Nomad yeah? I had a similar problem but it was in all parts of the game and it was that my screen resolution in game didn't match my monitor settings.

Sounds like a bug. Try running a repair on the game or re-install is all I can think of?

Oooh yeah I got something like that, but mine was a sick green color! That's just the lighting.

Yeah mine was a weird dark green color. The map isn't clearing the darkness like it's supposed to, so try saving and restarting the game.

I just reinstalled the entire game yesterday and started over.. so it cannot be that.. The screen is completely BLACK whenever in the NOMAD.  If i hop out of the nomad, then i can see the partial map.. it is only on the nomad. I guess I will try and save/exit/restart the computer.

It keeps saying the radiation level is at stage 1, but it doesn't make sense that i can see when out of the nomad vs in it.

Even after a reinstall running a repair may fix it. Maybe try that before you restart the game after rebooting the PC.

Yeah something's not right. I thought your map was dark, but the field itself? Maybe it's a graphics issue?

i have done everything you guys suggested.. the screen is BLACK. i guess perhaps time to delete the game. I am so frustrated at this. I don't know what to do.. I do appreciate all the help though, but this is beyond frustrating. So i have to travel the entire planet on foot? Does the hazzard go aweay after a certain percentage of viability or how does one remove the hazard level 1? WTF i mean seriously!@!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, i even went ahead and updated my driver, ran the stupid repair, even though i had already re-installed the game yesterday, and changed the graphics to normal.. It is compeletely black the second i go in the vehicle into the radiation. What gives with this retarded game? seriously this is beyond frustrating!

So it isn't black when you aren't in the radiation?

There are certain parts of EOS where the radiation is really strong and even the Nomad will lose health REALLY quickly. Is that what's happening, does it say mission failed? This is a function of the game and on other worlds its hot or cold so you have to wait to explore them until viability reaches a certain level.

If it is saying mission failed, just leave EOS and do other quests or go to Havarl or Voeld and come back to EOS when Suvi and Kallo tell you EOS is fine.

Yeah this is a bug I've never heard of before, and it sounds bad enough to be a game breaker if you can't proceed past the forward station shield. With all the fixes you did, it should have corrected itself.

You need to clear Eos before you can travel to other planets, so this is a pretty serious issue.

This sounds an awful like game corruption also could be hardware related. What are your specs?
