Oh, I won't do "in transit". I am very curious about what happened to the Ark, so I don't care if it goes back in time. I also have no problem with the events that take place in, say, other cluster because they are THAT off course and the DLC ending with the skeleton "awakened" crew resetting the trajectory after a bunch of adventures and going back to cryo sleep, and it being understood that they will be a decade or so late for Ryder's game. Ryder is 22, s/he could wait I am pretty open to any sort of ideas.

Honestly it sounds like a boring game. Spending the entire game on the Quarian arc would be dull for there is no change to the game at all you are always in the same environment and I don't think the arcs are really that big to contain multiple major story missions unless you just keep going to the same places all the time for it would be just a narrow corridor shooter.

I highly doubt that BioWare would ever make a game where you cannot play a human character, its more likely they would make a game where you only play a human. There are plenty of people out there that constantly claim they won't buy a game if there isn't the human option and BioWare has the metrics from Dragon Age to really see the interest people have in playing non-human characters. Just because you might think it would be a good idea, BioWare can easily see it as a situation where they go out of business to cater to a specific crowd.

Rather than spending too long on the Arc maybe the navigation systems failed and the Quarian Arc ended up in Kett space which would be a great excuse to really answer the question who are the Kett and what are their origins, motivations, beliefs. They really need to start developing the Kett (and by extension their key characters) as antagonists ahead of a supposed ME:A2 so there can be some set up and payoff. At this point they're basically a near blank slate which leaves any sequel with too much to establish. Quarian, Volus and Batarian characters developed in a side-sequel could also play a significant role in the main Andromeda series as future squadmates.

Our protagonist could be part of a rag tag band of milky way pathfinder scouts on the run who attempt to infiltrate a Kett holy city and liberate their Arc while uncovering the mysteries of the Kett along the way. Perhaps it turns out the kett are at war with other larger empires and they exalt conquered species as a matter of survival. Our heroes uncover the kett's long term plans for Helios along with key intel which might prove vital to our survival which sets the plot of MEA2 in motion with the arrival of the Quarian arc.

Rather than moving straight onto a direct sequel perhaps something like this could be just what the series needs to raise the stakes, develop characters and antagonists and give the sequel a much stronger platform and direction that was so sorely lacking in the original.

Mass Effect Andromeda: Kett Empire Strikes Back

Like Colfoley said, I want Ryder to get his ass kicked. Not at the end of the game but after the first few hours of the game. I want it to open up where MEA leaves off with everything seemingly well and then boom it all goes to straight up war.

If it is a DLC to ME:A then it is going to be from Ryders' perspective.
It may be unfortunate but if we get a Quarian DLC it more than likely could be handled the same way as the Krogan.

Furthermore why would Quarians even need to be put in cryo-tubes? 
The Quarians already wear eviro-suits -so would it not just be easier to just convert to cryo-suits instead of bulky cryo pods?
