ok, so doing a 2nd walkthrough.. There are still a lot of bugged quests for me, however my questions today are: 1. Should I simply get each planet to 100%? And then just leave the side quests alone after that (A lot of them are bugged for me). 2. Should i try to get all my strike team members up to level 20? Since they carry over, it seems nice to continue to work on my grinding up my strike team guys. 3. Are you guys simply trying to play through the games to complete them, then do the NG+ to try and gain more levels for your next walkthrough? Most curious what people are doing.. I do enjoy the game. I do wish it didnt have so many damn bugs i cannot complete, but i enjoy the game enough to continue to play it. Are my questions above reasonable? Thanks in advance ! hahah

1. I would think that'd work out okay. I did that during my second play through, ignoring some of the planet quests, to keep the story moving along. 2. Yeah, it's what I did. The strike teams can start bringing in better materials and weapons if they're capable of completing Gold and Silver op's regularly. 3. And, yes..kinda. I used my NG+ to complete the challenge of getting every profile up to level six, which is a ton of points.

My first playthrough I got all planets to 100% I have all strike teams at level 20 I got one Ryder up to level 132, the highest level. I even have another Ryder over level 100
Since you enjoy the game, I would do as much as possible.

i noticed that equipping the strike team with weapons and stuff cost mission funds? Or am i missing something? There were a few things you could add to the members but they all cost mission points from what i remember.

Lol I am so dead tired after priority and loyalty missions, that I can't even get around to all the other stuff and my first Sara I beat the game with is at level 38 only.

However, if you don't really play MP (saving up MF's for your MP agents' equipment), then feel free to spend those Mission Funds on Strike Teams. Might as well.

There were a few things you could add to the members but they all cost mission points from what i remember. It does cost mission funds, but it also increases their odds of completing missions. That particularly becomes relevant when you start sending your Strike Teams on gold op's. As mentioned, mission funds only become relevant for the multiplayer where you can use them to purchase equipment from the store for your MP kits. If all you're doing is the campaign use them to beef up your strike teams.

I do wish it didnt have so many damn bugs i cannot complete, but i enjoy the game enough to continue to play it. Are my questions above reasonable? Thanks in advance ! hahah 1) It doesn't really matter unless it is what you want to do. BioWare put a lot of different paths in the game, but I found on my speed run that if you do the Vault, create an outpost, and complete the main story for the planet you will get 100% regardless of any of the side missions. They are mostly there for extra AVP. 2) If you want to do the strike missions why not, if you don't like doing the strike missions I wouldn't bother. I have all six at level 20 and I find the extra resources are nice so loosen some of the grind. 3) I did a 100% game with both Scott and Sara to see if the game was different, not really for levels. I did an insanity that I just did what interested me so I did the majority of the content, I just skipped the quests that you stumble at Kett/Raider camps. Right now my speed playthrough I am just doing the main missions to see how that feels compared to a 100% game. 3b) Levels really don't matter in the game unless you are going for achievements after level 80 when you unlock Rank X for weapons and armor. By then you will have more then enough skill points for your main skills and the passives. You might find there are less bugs on playthrough #2 as well since they have fixed a lot of them over time, but some require a new game to properly fix. In my last game I only had one quest sort of bug out for a friend of mine who plays on the Xbox was able to get a quest that never started for me.

I'm about to start a second playthrough as well, and am planning on only doign the main quests for the planets. I have doen everything but tasks on my first run (can't be bothered with those random encounter tasksà), and some of it was a real grind... SO no I'm only goign to do story-stuff.

1. Side quests are Ok, but I can tell you when I avoided all fetch quests I enjoyed the game much more and maintained a better pace. Examples of quests to skip are the Mineral survey, Plant survey, the Vortex sidequest, Turian ark debris on Havarl, Remnant tech gather quest on Havarl (handed out by one of the sages). 2. Yes Strike teams to level 20 and when you have enough Apex points equip them with Human intelligence. Dump the teams that accumulate too many negative traits as they are not worth it. 3. I do NG+ because I have a number of mods that enhance the experience at the higher levels. Keep in mind with NG+ you cannot research augmentations again, so if you lost any augments because you forgot to deconstruct something and sold it, do not start NG+ with that game.
Some of my personal tips:
1. There are random side quests from the spawns that pop up over the map. These can be fun as you never know if that next spawn will have a clue or not. I loved finishing these on all worlds (Havarl is the only one that does not have it). 2. If you have not done it before, try finishing all the missions on Havarl before going to Voeld. The NPCs there treat you differently 3. If you haven't done this before, take Vetra with you on Eos when you meet Drack the first time at the Monolith with the Kett shields 4. There are lots of little nuggets out there if you take the time to drive around. I found an Angaran saboteur on Kadara living out of a shack fighting off exiles single-handedly. When I came back with Jaal he was able to convince her to leave and go join the resistance. This is an example but these little nuggets of content are what enhance the experience (in my opinion anyways) 5. If you are playing on a PC, there are a lot of mods available now that can enhance the experience. Check out ME mod forum and there is a thread with lots of recommendations. Enjoy.
Hope that helps!

2. Yes Strike teams to level 20 and when you have enough Apex points equip them with Human intelligence. Dump the teams that accumulate too many negative traits as they are not worth it. Exceptional Human Intelligence is good if you only have one or two level 20 teams because it gives +20 effectiveness to every mission type but it's not as good as the more specialized buffs which can give you +40 for a particular mission type. if you have a number of teams you can give each one a different buff and maximize your chances of getting those Gold missions.

I'm on my second playthrough now as I want to experience the other side of the dialogue tree with a male Ryder and make different choices to the ones I made last time. Also playing as an Adept whereas last time it was an Infiltrator. Obviously different romance too.
I tend to be a completionist. I like the game so I'm happy to go for all the side quests second time around as well.
For my third run through I will probably go NG+ with a higher difficulty level and try some other combat styles but, knowing me, I'll still want to complete as many quests as possible.
I have an NG+ question though. Do you have to keep the same Ryder or can you change looks/gender?

You can also use the character generator during the game in the medbay as well.

This time around there are a lot more bugs than the first play-through. So, so, so many quest collections not being updated.. Heck my remnant cores don't even count on the 0/9. It only shows still at 1/9 and i have scanned a bunch so far.. Very disappointed with this part of the game.. I like to complete stuff I might just blaze through the story this time and then start over. I also reinstall the game and repair it like a bunch of times just so it doesn't get even more buggier !
