May I suggest the name for the next thread? "The BSN Menace" We are a menace after all I've exhausted most of the movie series that I care to use(*) so threads 11-20 will be based on book titles. Also I already used a Star Wars title and I'm trying not to repeat. (*) Fun fact: there are LOT of soft-core porn movie series in any list of 'movie series with more than 10 entries'.

First of all - THANK YOU for an exemplary job, kudos to you! Would you please ask - Whether they plan to include number of waves as selectable element for games in addition to map/enemy/difficulty allowing to choose between 7 and 11 waves?
- Whether they plan to reward random games with higher credit/xp?
- What happend to the Remnant Vault map as we haven't seen it for weeks, abandoned or paused?
- Whether they plan for additional tasks or task combinations in waves 3/6/(10)?
(The latter for instance hack + targets in parallel.) - How long they anticipate to suppport the game with new content/patches/missions etc.?

I'll try to save Randall some repetitive answering here. First of all - THANK YOU for an exemplary job, kudos to you! Would you please ask - Whether they plan to include number of waves as selectable element for games in addition to map/enemy/difficulty allowing to choose between 7 and 11 waves?
They've repeatedly stated they won't/can't answer questions about specific unreleased content. They've already said no to this. They've said it's too complicated to implement into regular rotation. See 1st answer. I'd have to look it up to be sure but IIRC their support contract is for 6 months.

Thanks a lot, tried to locate the content in the table (via smartphone) but obviously wasn't able to do so. Will give it a harder try next time.
I will try to make up a few sophisticated questions now nobody ever yet has asked...

They acknowledged many weeks ago that the Halberd was in need of a buff but none has come. Have they changed their minds or are they waiting on the next patch?

Are you looking at the balance among Sniper Rifles? Currently some of the URs feel weak (ex: Black Widow, Valiant) compared to lower rarity weapons. Also, all single-shot Sniper Rifles suffer hugely due to enemy shieldgate mechanics. and due to lack of reload cancel

This goes along with other people asking for alternative ways to get more of certain types of boosters. Especially ammo. I would like to know if they would consider adding something like a voucher for each level of booster and then have part of the store (perhaps the Item tab) allow you to exchange the voucher for the type of booster you want. It could be something like the rewards from Armax Arena in the Citadel DLC. Vouchers could just be added to random boosters we are already getting.

2nd try. I HAVE tried to isolate content from the database and failed. Hence - should I get an answer back from crashsuit (which was highly appreciated btw) in five minutes proving me wrong again (or JRandall himself) - please forgive me. But you are entitled to then tell me "Son, you should take more care reading through the legacy of your ancestors prior to asking stupid (or at least already answered) questions...".
It's mainly about balance philosophy. About Bioware's. Personally I believe the game needs some imbalance as (criticized by some players it would be already the case) if ALL characters/weapons were the same what would be the point playing different combinations? I don't believe everything is the same, for me it's a big difference in playing a Kroguard, a SalArchitect or an Avenger for instance. Example from old ME3, Geth Titan, was this one "balanced"? I never got it but saw other players using it meleeing down everything solo in game. Heavily overpowered hence imbalanced but still a lot of fun obviously.
Speaking about MEA yes I know e.g. an Avenger or SalOp is somehow overpowered but do I want to see them being nerfed, "balanced" to equality?
Certainly not as it would render much fun in the game useless and also would diminish the longing of players for certain characters/weapons to zero. Hence my questions
- What is Bioware's philosophy in introducing balance changes to a running game? What do they want to achieve?
- Which criteria do they apply deciding on a buff/nerf/balance change?
- Which rationale/justification do they take for their balance changes? Do they review game data from their servers analyzing game statistics? Do they consider/neglect criticizm/moan/praise of their player base? Which ones would be considered "representative"?
- A more specific one. Challenges contain a counter. Does that mean these can be set back (how?) and be done repeatedly?
Thanks a lot

2nd try. I HAVE tried to isolate content from the database and failed. In fairness, it's not really a database; it is a spreadsheet. In a perfect world I would sit down and do some information architecture work around how to organize the questions and answers, I would apply metadata to them, and I would build a query-able database with fuzzy matching around key terms. In the real world I threw some stuff into a Google spreadsheet and tacked on a few keywords. But still, you can Ctrl-F for certain terms or apply the Filter function to the Keyword columns, and that should help.
Also I should point out that not everything is in the 'database'. There are two parts of the Twitch stream. There is the stream itself, in which (typically) Billy plays the game while he and Bastiaan talk about the game. Sometimes they talk in a general sense about what they've been working on, or the latest patch, and sometimes they answer specific questions fed to them from... The Twitch chat. This is a chat window to the side of the stream. The conversation there is INUNDADTED with random IRC-style chit-chat, repetitive questions about stuff we know they can't talk about (Quarians, DLC, blah blah blah), random Single Player partisans shit-posting on the MP stream, etc. But every once in a while someone asks something useful. Typically, @ Bioware or @ DiscoBabaloo (Fernando Melo) will answer that person's question with a 1-2 sentence response. Because of the nature of the Twitch stream and chat, long philosophical questions can't effectively be addressed. Exception: there was one Twitch stream in which Billy and Bastiaan just sat and talked about the game (I think this was in conjunction with The Great Patch, 1.06). And I have passed along feedback to Fernando that another stuch conversation might be useful in the future so they can talk in a more broad sense about game philosophy. But, in a typical week, we get to ask short, targeted questions. Another thing: they typically only answer a half-dozen questions from any particular person, depending upon the volume of other conversation in the chat. This week I have 32 questions already on my list. I try to have a general sense for what is important to people, or what Bioware is likely to answer (based on what's happening in the Twitch game or what just got asked/answered in the Twitch chat before me). So if you don't see 'your' question get asked or answered, it is mostly because of volume and me being selective.
So all of this is a great topic but not something they can effectively address in a normal Twitch stream. I will add it to the list in case they ever do a more discursive 'talking heads' episode again.
Good question, and one they can answer in a short response.

Simple question, I'm pretty shure people already asked this one, but in the challenges, theres some for weapons, powers, but not for melee attacks ? is there a reason why Bioware didn't implemented melee challenges ?

If you attend the Twitch stream, PLEASE do NOT ask about the 'Sinclair' hoax on Twitch. Doing so rewards the hoaxer for their bad behavior and distracts from legitimate conversation.

I just found out I have an unavoidable work meeting today that starts immediately after the Twitch stream ends. I'll only be able to attend the Twitch for about 45 minutes of its runtime.
Also my summary here and on reddit will be delayed for a few hours after that, so please be patient.
