It's often said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, and every day i would launch this game and hope that this time would be different and i would not ragequit cursing about how stupid this game is. Well today i had enough and i realized that nothing is going to change so i guess i am mostly sane now.
The straw that broke the camel's back was a 2 suicide breachers. 1st shields down + stun, second health gate + stun after that i was finished of by some random mook and i was like yeah f*** this game i have better things to do.
My only regret is that i paid for the super deluxe digital whatever edition to get the 20 free packs that i did not even get to open all cause they give them to you 1 per week so that you are not in danger of having too much fun.
Ah well thanks for reading my rant.
I should go now.

On a serious note, do not underestimate Assemblers.
They are very powerful now with each shot having some stagger ability.
I learned my lessons hard way not to underestimate Assemblers and Agents after patch 1.08. They shoot hard and fast. lol

I'm still in between. There's days when I want to throw the game away cause I think it's shit, I can't really throw it away, it's digital lol but you know what I mean and then there's other days I'm having fun cause I'm playing with a few real close friends of mine, so I'm swinging back and forward all the time but one thing is certain and that thing is that I'm definitely not having as much fun as I was with me3 days.

Some units do max the frustration that is for sure. Breachers and dogs make you die often and should not be quite as effective at getting you killed as they are.

After all, if you roll a die over and over and expect the same result every time, that would be pretty insane. It also has no clinical or diagnostic value whatsoever, which is why it'll induce glares, laughter, or eyerolls if you ever say this in front of anyone with any kind of postgrad psychological education*. *I don't myself, but I've seen such reactions firsthand. |

Breachers and dogs are both cheap tricks and frustrate to no end. My playtime has fallen off a cliff once I got down to only UR cards left to collect. Sitting at 21 of 60 UR character cards without a single character or gun at X in 156 hours. Open an evening's worth of premium packs for nothing but boosters... I log off. Sorry but this game isn't fun enough to keep me playing without that carrot.
I bought Elite Dangerous and Shadow of Mordor this week. Need to check out the last patch in No Man's Sky and finish Ghost Recon Wildlands. Hit the Apex missions and wait for some content.

I never reagequit a single ME3 game. On some days, when lag is intolerable or I don't feel like it, I just solo. In MEA, I have had few midgame ragequits mostly due to lag. And really, can't solo normally, there is so much BS, I never finished a gold solo yet, same ragequit. I think, I should try remnant, that might work. I do get really frustrated with weapons firing but not hitting anything. Mostly an issue off host but quite frequent in solo as well. IDK how you have to program the game to be able to do that but Bioware pulled it off, kudos to them. So, yes, palker, I hear you, smart move, you've done the right thing.

I really enjoy this game, but I can understand OPs frustration. If someone doesn't want to play anymore, who gives a shit? If someone thinks this game is the greatest evah, who gives a shit? Enjoyment is based on individual preferences. As for myself, as aggravating as the various shit things in MEA can be, have not been near as upset as all the times I froze or got DC on ME3 during golds and plats. That shit would drive me fucking nuts when it happened.
