It all started when SN said BW wouldn't listen to them and push back the release of MEA. That's when SN was claiming they worked for them. This was months ago!

Yeah, I think that's what gave this hoax long legs.  It had gone on for months without anyone really questioning it too much.  It wasn't until last night's fiasco that people started taking a closer look.

So all of these ''ON ICE'' ''DEAD'' rumors started from a troll who hated Bioware? What the ever loving shit? Really internet? I know you are dumb internet but this is pushing it. That is some of the dumbest shit I've heard. And I was around when people started complaining about Dantes hair being black instead of white. Ugh.....

There was so much controversy around MEA, anything could be real or fake. It was a total mess and EA keeping tight-lipped made BW look even worse, and BW themselves were already looking bad for other things, then the romances, face animations, etc... canceling the MP testing... wow it was a disaster!

Who knows... definitely it was some kind of long-term plan, cause he/they want to look as legit as possible.
FB profiles - really well done, with pictures, a lot of comments, many advices, in many different languages; then you have IMDB profles both for the "owner" and "company"; i also found websites from austria related to their office in Vienna. It wasn't one week work; someone did it long time ago for some reason.
Everyone remember that SN was mentioned here on BSN long time ago in a connection to MEA patches and absolutely NO ONE noticed anything unusual about it.

If I were on Twitter I'd be every single one of those tweets from Ian! Hysterical.

I work on and under confidentiality agreements nearly every week in my job. You cannot really say, confirm, or deny anything. Silence is the status-quo response when it comes to content.

I find it completely plausible that whomever posted this could be the source for Schierer's Kotaku "ME:A is done" article. Which raises a larger question? Who the hell is this person? This is kind of a long burn/game for a simple troll post. WTF is/was the point? LOLZ? Clearly, they know how to work the BW fanbase. It just strikes me as odd. Maybe since they hadn't been found out yet they wanted another go. Then again, I try not to question insanity.

TBH, the hoax in the end backfired because what it did seem to result in is a bonding moment between Bio and fandom, which is nice. So, Internet sucks, Internet rocks, and may we all be blessed with patience.
