The ME:A 'Story DLC Cancelled' Sinclair Networks Facebook hoax

Because you can speculate correctly a lot of times. Sometimes, you get it wrong. Just because the facts line up, doesn't make it right. Skepticism is what Kotaku sold under Gawker. You can't escape that fact. I can speculate all day and get 90% of it right. That's not journalism. Unnamed sources is a real thing, but you have to take it with skepticism. Also, it doesn't describe who the sources are in the story. Are they leads? Were they low-level developers? Out of work artists? A director who has an axe to grind? I can speculate that this story is going to get a lot right, but that doesn't make it right. Facts and credible sources are what Kotaku needs right now to shake off the Gawker stench.

That doesn't make any sense.  Either he's credible with credible sources or he's not.  You can't say the people know what they're talking about and are telling the truth on one hand, and then say they're not credible and don't know what they're talking about on the other.

The thing about Kotaku is that we've had two different stories.

One thread it's mostly disbelief, questioning the author, resistance. The other is mostly accepting, saying that it explains a lot about how the game came out the way it did.

But the thing is, they're both by the same author, using the same sources. How can one be accepted and not the other.

That doesn't make any sense.  Either he's credible with credible sources or he's not.  You can't say the people know what they're talking about and are telling the truth on one hand, and then say they're not credible and don't know what they're talking about on the other.

Now every second-string gaming site is picking up the story and I've been commenting that it's been proven a hoax.

Twitter is really getting in on it. Mostly in languages I can't read, but everyone is taking it as fact.

Eh, EA/Origin Access has been existing since 11th August 2014.

And full game like DAI can be played with EA/Origin Access for a year before ME:A release.

So it wasn't in EA's interest to release ME:A buggy with it's 10 hour Trial.
