If you want to believe so. Someone with more sense is likely doing damage control as we discuss this. Their deleting it in no way makes it "less credible" for me. What I mean is, they said they are done with MEA, but if BW wants the DLC, they can still make it happen if they have enough people, which they feel they don't. They also said they have not used the content they made, then said they deleted the content, so yeah, not helping me believe them. The whole 'we deleted the content' thing is definitely a red flag for me. Surely if they're contracted to make DLC for a game which they (obviously) don't own, and have been paid for said work, they don't have the authority to just delete it like that, especially so soon after the fact - they claim this meeting was recent, so what if BW turn around and say actually they've changed their minds? Pretty sure it's standard policy in game development to NOT delete content, even if it's cut or removed.

They were simply told to move on to Anthem and then took it personally I guess.

OK...whose decision is it ultimately for DLC?...EA or Bioware? I would think EA correct? They would have to sign off on it and then Bioware would work on it correct? That's what I thought, but these guys said they were to make 3 DLC's and had one for August already, now the content is not being used and they deleted it, so BW is on their own. They also said they came in to help BW helped clean up their patches recently. Weirdly, in a post from May about patch 1.06 when someone commented about SP DLC they said they hadn't worked on it at all and didn't have anything from Bioware for SP DLC. So they made a SP DLC in a little over a month if the started the next day from the post? Maybe, I'm not sure how hard DLC is to make, but it just seems odd.

I could be wrong but that's the way I read it.

The worst part is its not like they have to deal with "trolls", they could have just left the comments on their facebook page and you know, not argue with the the people they consider trolls, but apparently it was that important to delete the comments to not have to deal with them, even if they did not have to deal with them at all... What the fuck is going on...Damage control. Whoever did this was a well intentioned idiot. A company's reputation and financial well-being is now, possibly, in question. I'm sure they wish they could expunge this entire incident. This helps Sinclair in no fashion, but could hurt them in ways we've already speculated. I agree. If anything in the long run this probably will be a bigger problem for Sinclair Networks then EA/BioWare. EA/BioWare are used to the torches and pitchforks, but this could cost Sinclair Networks big contracts with AAA publishers for they cannot trust they won't have another employee go on a rant and expose internal discussions combined with their personal opinions. Not to mention the possible fallout of any possible NDA clauses in contracts if they existed. The real fallout I think is what might happen with Red Dead Redemption and Take-Two with how they have handled single player DLC as well, for they might want to back out with Sinclair due to this since they have been very quiet on single player DLC for GTAV as well.

Damn, Sinclair is going in on B-wEAr like it killed their father or something. So with that being said, Sinclair, aside from running Ring of Honor on TV for a long time, you deserve this W:

It was more backtracking then just the deleting, the things they were posting were contradicting what they said earlier almost like they were getting lost in their posts. As I said before if there isn't DLC I will just move for its no loss for me if they don't release more content. I think it only felt contradictory because the poster was sharing bits of info at a time. Since we don't work in the industry, and have no idea of Sinclair Networks present SOP and/or contractual obligations, it comes across as even more murky. I think the poster was being straight with us. Their posts have the rushed, slightly disjointed feel of a pissed off person having an ill-advised blowup on Fb.

I'm still a bit iffy on the validity of all this, but I definitely recall reading posts from Sinclair a while back claiming they'd made a huge free DLC for Ghost Recon: Wildlands that Ubisoft then decided to chop up and sell as seperate DLCs.
Now that's either another huge NDA breach with a large studio, or they're deliberately stirring up drama against big publishers.

Damage control. Whoever did this was a well intentioned idiot. A company's reputation and financial well-being is now, possibly, in question. This is the type of thing they may never be able to fully quantify. Even once the present mess is cleaned up, how many future contracts do they lose? Even they would never know for sure. Of course, our would be "whistle-blower" could get canned as a rogue idiot; and that could repair any damage to the company's reputation. I really have no idea how this industry works, in this regard; nor do I have any idea of the relationship dynamics between Sinclair Networks and the companies who employ them. I'm confident that there are more than a few people with Sinclair saying, "WTF have you done?", right now.

Maybe when Sinclair accepts a contract they do so on the understanding that the content they deliver is unaltered. I read they delivered SP DLC to UbiSoft for Ghost Recon Woodlands and UbiSoft broke their bigger GB DLC into smaller chunks afterwards but didn't technically alter the content

Don't know why that would matter but that's how it came across Yeah I know that it is what they said but I am just thinking how it could be possible? Still reeeeeally scratching my head about this. Like, say they really did make a single-player DLC all by themselves that BioWare is somehow not allowed to then alter - how is that even possible? BioWare are still responsible for character designs, location designs, audio design, VA recording, etc. even if the 'grunt work' of putting the content together is handled by an outsourced studio. I just can't conceive of any contract that would stop BioWare having full control over content created for THEIR OWN GAME.
