Fraps not working in ME3

Fraps FR counter shows up in the desktop (and in ME2 just last week), but not in the game itself.
I haven't tried turning off the Origin game overlay -- that may be it! Will try next time I play.

This is actually really frustrating because disabling the overlay would improve the FR as well, and the computer I'm playing on is not great.
But if the internet is correct, you apparently have to be online and signed in for the DLC to work? Or, in my case, to even open a save file that you've played with the DLC recognized?

Yea, that's really odd. Are you sure you didn't disable something else (are you still online). It's weird because even if you weren't online with Origin, your DLCs should still work.

If nothing else works, try warranty Voider's DLC patcher. It comes with almost any content mod you can download from Nexus or just get it from the link in the ME3Explorer Wiki. That patcher disables DLC authorization altogether. Don't worry, everyone who uses content mods (including me) uses it and it has no bearing on you Origin account, ME3, save ro whatever, it's safe to use.

But again, check Origin. What you described there really shouldn't have happened in the first place.
