SofaJockey , I'm sorry! It was a suggestion based on my opinion, no real need to follow it Ha, don't you worry, you're serving up options, and that's great I've got a pretty good idea of the journey to #50, and there are more than 20 clips lined up for each of ME2 and ME3 so some tough choices are still to come. Of the first 8 selections, 6 were pretty obvious. Milady suggesting Wrex's conflict had to go in and there was a debate about the Beacon vs Nihlus vs Jenkins. Each suggestion then becomes a debate of 'what gets dumped if this goes in'. And finally, I'm trying to pay attention to popular choices (so we're unlikely to go with interesting but more obscure renegade choices). Lastly, wherever possible, I'm trying to use clips that are free of captions/adverts/crap, and mix up ManShep/FemShep and mix romances (phew). Only 42 days to go

LOL May be the last day you could add an "honorable mentions" for those videos that were left out... I've been thinking that November 2017 is the 10 year aniversary of the first ME...Anyway thanks for putting this together I'm enjoying it a lot!

The 'honorable mentions' idea is nice, and we are essentially doing that on a daily basis in this thread anyway.
To some extent we are limited by the #50 days to N7 Day (Had the idea dawned 10 days earlier, 60 might have been better, but #FiftyFeels does have a nice ring to it...) And this thread is a 'something to do' while waiting for the Mass Effect Andromeda information breaking on November 7th.
After that point I suspect we will have a real splurge of MEA focus, but we could assemble a definitive(ish) 'Top 100' in the future.
What this exercise has reminded me is just how good the Mass Effect trilogy is (all three parts) for emotional moments, something that gets missed or obscured by the 'ending discussion'.
Anyway, today's entry:
Has to be Sovereign.
"You will end because we demand it."
Fifty Feels to Mass Effect N7 Day: #9 (September 26th) Shepard speaks to Sovereign

The first time I played that clip, on my old computer and sound system, it was pretty darn cool. I had a 5.1 surround system that really made the floor shake when the big guy spoke.
More recently ... checked out what ME looked like with the HD mod ... but by then BioWare had released some of the exclusive content from other platforms for ME2 and I installed the ME3 expanded galaxy mod ... so I took that starter run all the way through ME, ME2 and will finish it up in ME3 (before ME:A's release, maybe even before N7 day). With a new computer and new sound system ... Sovereign is quite impressive in game (the clip doesn't seem to do it justice).
Also, going back, listening to what Sovereign says ... makes so much more sense to me than it did, prior to playing ME3.

That dialogue between Shepard and Sovereign is one of the best moments of the entire trilogy

Aaarrrgh, Entropy , difficult choices... (thanks for those) Ha, you totally signed up for those when you took this project on! Personally, I'm on the fence about the Shiala scene, so I'm no help.

The 'honorable mentions' idea is nice, and we are essentially doing that on a daily basis in this thread anyway. Oh! I thougth that this thread was just to decide what goes on Twitter! how dumb of me Now there is no need to hold back anymore! Whahahahahaha I promise to behave, don't worry about me flooding the thread I have a confession to share... The first time I saw the thread title I went "The hell is this? some reference to that '50 shades of grey' crap?" That conversation with Sovereign is easily my favorite moment in the whole trilogy. Compared to Sovereign, Harbinger was such a joke... a really bad joke. SofaJockey , you have to post all the videos that are left preceded with this...

The first time I saw the thread title I went "The hell is this? some reference to that '50 shades of grey' crap?" I thought the hashtag #FiftyFeels would have been a new thing, but no, it was previously used in relation to that work of literature *cough* The only thing I've seen about that film is the Lego trailer (sorry to be off topic ) I think our 'feels' are better

I know it's jumping forward quite a bit...but could last year's N7 day trailer be the last, the 50th feel? I don't know exactly why, but the feels are strong in that one (at least for me).

So, who did you support? The closet racist or the one with the health condition? Yep, it's Day #10 and it's the Ashley or Kaiden choice . Had both the poll on this forum and the poll on Twitter coincided, I would have gone for that answer, but the decision (as it is in the game) turned out to be divisive. Not usually going to do this, but on this occasion I found a clip with both outcomes, so that's the clip for today Fifty Feels to Mass Effect N7 Day: #10 (September 27th) Kaiden or Ashley? When this happened in-game I found myself stuck on that choice for some time.

I voted Ashley to be saved of course. On the topic of why twitter is different from a forum such as this one, as far as preferences go, I think comes down to a couple of reasons. First off, if you as a player take the time and effort to register on a forum and engage in ongoing discussions, you're likely to be more emotionally involved than someone that played the game, perhaps liked it, but moved on to the next one. Sharing game experiences, common interests and joining discussions lead to more knowledge of the game and perhaps less bias. This might be the reason the forum poll is quite close so far. If you go to media like Youtube or Twitch, you'll notice quite a lot of Ashley hate or negativity, while on forums such as these or the Bioware forums I didn't notice it nearly as much. It could of course also be the demographic of this forum. Perhaps the more open minded or reasonable people from the Bioware forums migrated to here. Or there's are about the same amount of people that liked either of them. Although, chosing one or the other doesn't mean you hate the one you didn't save. Sometimes there's other reasons for justifying that decision. I don't have twitter, if I did, I would have voted. Perhaps there's just more people with twitter that happened to have played Mass Effect than people that were really invested and knowledgable but don't have twitter. Then again if everyone had twitter that has played the games, and would have voted, Kaidan would still have won. There was a survey done on the Bioware forums. The same question was asked there, and it was 48% Ashley saved vs 50% Kaidan. Link for those interested: WTF!? there was a survey which showed that around 25% never played ME3 Multiplayer!? ugh this is heresy

Tomorrow's clip is a bit cheeky... As promised, some blue 'cheeks'... Whilst avoiding romance scenes in general, because we all have different playthrough preferences, the Liara romance scene is somewhat infamous because of the Fox News attack and scandal. www.mtv.com/news/1580632/fox-news-expert-backs-down-from-xbox-mass-effect-sex-scene-attack/So this sequence just has to be in the list, doesn't it? Day #12
We could have done several things here, for example, Vigil (previously suggested) and using the Conduit are both options,
but we need to move along with all the 'feels' from Mass Effect 2 and 3 still to capture, so, for emotional punch, #12 is Saren's swansong with (for variety) a renegade discussion from Shepard, telling it as it is:

Good choice on Saren's confrontation, but I think the Vigil conversation still edges him out. One of the most iconic soundtracks in the trilogy, not to mention that sense of awe and wonder that basically makes up why Mass Effect is so special. I think Vigil should have won out over Liara's romance scene. Much more relevant for players of the whole trilogy. Plus, I'm sure Liara will have her own moments in ME2 and ME3 already.

On N7 day, having covered the 50 Feels ... do you start the first feel ... for ME:A?
If so, I'd nominate Commander Shepard's signoff to the Ark ships.
You know, a segue between the old and new.
Either that or a really crappy, overly priced personal mobility device.
Yet, I digress.
Further silliness ... what is N7 Ryder's favorite pistol? No, not the Carnifex.
I'm Commander Ryder and this is my favorite pistol on the Ark.

The Vigil conversation was magical - the sense you got of the passage and depth of time was really well done. Regarding the romance scene with Liara - it's really mild isn't it? I am reminded once again of the ridiculousness of that 'scandel'.
