Sweet! We'll find out how they ended up where they were and the DLC will be where we continue the story!

Also now it makes sense why Melo said they can't talk about future content and called DLC questions spoilers. Everything's been pushed back to the late Fall!

If the dates are correct, we could see 2 DLC's since the first book came out with the game. They did that with Descent and Trespasser. (Aug and Sep).

I'm not sure what Amazon is posting but that's definitely not the title that Titan, the publisher, has in their catalog for the book title. In this case I think I'll go with the publisher, who would actually know, than the retailer.

Either it was a place holder name, or the cancelled 4th book's title was mixed up with it maybe?

Everything's been pushed back to the late Fall! yea hit's beginnin gto sound like things were'n't cancelled at all they were just postponed to give the team a chance to fix the issues with MEA first. But now that the issues aer close to being resolved now things can start to go ahead.

Yeah if the novels were the story's conclusions (though I still keep that as a slight possibility and whoever thought of it is an idiot), many gamers would be angry, because many gamers don't read books, they play games.

Something I believe they've done before. The book titles have been known qualities for a while since they were announced on the Titan website.

So that would mean DLC in December then? 2 books makes me think 2 DLC and if production was delayed, late Fall wold be logical. Also based on the books, the DLC would likely wrap up the Garson and Ark stuff, leaving the Angaran discovery for MEA2 most likely.

Two DLC's to wrap up some of the plot threads from the main campaign, I'm thinking missing ark and the benefactor as well, which would leave the Jaardan/Angara story as the ongoing story plot for the sequel.

Then MEA3 is the resolution between the two and finding a way to live in Andromeda.

It makes sense, everything fits with all the info we gathered, and now the release dates seem to also connect with why EA is not telling us anything. It's way too early thanks to the delays.

What I measn is that it's likely therewil be DLC's connected t othe books I think. I've not read any of the Andromeda books yet but I've read the trilogy ones and they were good especially the first 2. The one about Anderson and Saren and the second one about the human biotic girl Gillian. I forget the books names though but I enjoyed reading them as I bought them on my Kindle. I'm not as big a reader these days as I was growing up but I've got to admit the ME books have been pretty good and I can certainly see myself picking up the Andromeda ones eventually.

I think it's a little odd that Amazon just lists the Audible version of it and not a physical version. Maybe that comes out sooner? Also, the NK Jemisin novel is releasing earlier on Audible. Thought it was supposed to be after.
Also, it's odd that they would release a novel without any DLC if both are about the quarian ark. Novels based off of video games are already kind of sketchy and don't sell as well as other novels. A novel based off of a "cancelled" or nonexistent DLC probably would sell less

So either Annihilation or Lost Ark are placeholder title for 2nd novel, or Annihilation is entire different novel while Lost Ark will be 3rd novel?
It's quite weird.

There are only 3 books, Uprising that already came out with the game, now we have Initiation (seems Benefactor related) and Annihilation (The Lost Ark) and then that's it.

A lot of speculation going on. The fact (if we can call it that) that a novel will be released with the title, "The Lost Ark," doesn't necessarily mean there will be DLC connected to it.

It's because the first book was released the same day the game came out and was about how things ended up as they were with the Nexus, Exiles, etc... then in-game we solved the issues.
