Really hope not. After having to do that for the previous three Arks it would be nice not having to save another. Well the distress call at theend of the game seems to indicate that we will in one of the DLC's the question is though what will we be saving them from is it the Kett again or something else?I'm ready.

A lot of speculation going on. The fact (if we can call it that) that a novel will be released with the title, "The Lost Ark," doesn't necessarily mean there will be DLC connected to it. For some unknown reason everyone is connecting The Lost Ark book with DLC ? Why ? What if we will get the book INSTEAD of DLC ?

Something you guys need to consider: We may be getting a book that covers what would have been the DLC, so it's easier to write a book than to make content for a game.

Following this logic there should not be any games at all. Sure, its easier, but BW games are about choices, interactions, characters you yourself build connection with. It just can not be experienced through books. They would likely not do anything, than cover a DLC via a Book.

For some unknown reason everyone is connecting The Lost Ark book with DLC ? Why ? What if we will get the book INSTEAD of DLC ? Because generally in the past the books have been used to set up stuff that we'er going to play in the games like the whole Anderson/Saren book set up the whole premise of ME1 and the same happened with the Nexus uprising book it set up MEA and what we'd be facing in the game. Plus I think most people would rather play out the conclusion to the story not read it. So it looks like we are still going to get DLC it was just delayed to give Bioware a chance to fix the other issues people were having with the game first. I don't think they'd leave such an obvious hint in the game if they didn't intend to finish it in the game same as with the Benefactor and Ryder's mum threads

I have enough of guessing and predicting using some "evidence", "hints", Kotaku and other "sources". Is the book confirmed ? Yes - ok, then we will have it. Is the DLC confirmed ? No, so we have to assume we will not have it. There are way too many topics about POSSIBLE DLC. And in every single one the same people are writing almost the same things, trying to convince anyone else that their "truth" is better that someone else "truth"...

Damnit. If that is the case, then any potential DLC that deals with the other races won't appear until December. I'd hoped the first one would handle that.

"Fighting for DLC" doesnt mean that we blindly disagree with those. who dont, doesnt mean that we cant accept the truth\facts. It just means, that we havent yet lost hope. We believe.

Exactly the fact that books are coming gives us hope that DLC will as well. Of course I freely admit just because books are coming doesn't mean were getting DLC however it doesn't mean we're not either. But you can't blame people for putting 2 and 2 together and getting hope from it. It's just a case of being patient and waiting to find out. I only said that because in the past that's how Bioware's books and their games have operated. So it stands to reason it could happen again that was all I was saying.
