I haven't been into a GameStop since Steam, Origin, Ubisoft, GoG.com, Beamdog and man... there are more... since I don't own a console. I used to own them, but at the time, modding wasn't possible and I want that control. Also, I'm Catholic. And GameStop was using guilt like a serious negotiating tool. I got 'guilted' into buying crap all the time. Now I can sit behind a computer and just throw my money away even faster.

And if you're on the fence, but for some reason you wish to shop at Gamestop and you haven't gotten around to purchasing MEA (AND you're browsing the Andromeda forums), do it! It's well worth the cash. Or quite a bit more, in my opinion. The patches helped a lot, and underneath the warts* is a pretty fun game. Some dumb moments, some characters who are hit or miss, but also a lot of awesome Biowarey things. It's the most Mass Effect 1 anything has been for me since original flavor Mass Effect. S'a good way to spend a hundred hours or so. *Mostly but not entirely sandblasted off by patching

There are still quests on PC that still have lingering issues, but the vanilla game is ready for DLC.

I have heard a lot of good things about Witcher 3.. I tried to play Witcher 1 and I actually hated it. I didn't like the combat system and stopped after about 1 hour lol.. But i have heard good things, in fact, great things about Witcher 3.. As for Mass Effect Andromeda, despite the negative criticism about it, i love playing it.. yes, there are about 5-6 quests which are bugged for me (i play on the PC), and those have not been fixed with patches. I really enjoy the combat system and the quest markers, and a lot of it.. I dislike Liam's character, but overall I enjoy it a lot.. I think it is totally worth playing it. I am hopeful they will fix some of the quest bugs such as collection quests which do not increase your counter lol.

I almost quit the first Witcher due to the combat system being terrible, but I'm glad I hung in there and finished the game. They get progressively better as you go through them, and three is one of my favorite games ever. I would give it a try.

Eh, I hated the witcher 3. Preferred the first one out of all 3 for some reason. I'm going to say it: Witcher 3 is incredible. I just can't get into it like you and many others. It's one of those awesome titles that just didn't grab hold of me even though I own it and still can't get past an hour into the game. It's a great game not for me. It's a great title to benchmark against for comparisons. I know I made the mistake of comparing Andromeda's missed potential to the Witcher 3's success of hitting the target. One day, several years from now, I will say, "Wow." like I did with Alpha Protocol. Also, CDPR fans. People can talk about BioWare fans as being melodramatic and maudlin... spend 10 minutes behind a group of them at a BioWare display. Swear to God, I'm bringing a taser to the next PAX South.

Eh, I hated the witcher 3. Preferred the first one out of all 3 for some reason. I'm going to say it: Witcher 3 is incredible. I just can't get into it like you and many others. Recitation: When fighting CDPR fans, it is recommended one uses rapid-firing blasters and grenades. Logic, common sense and arguments also work, I understand. The main effort should be concentrated towards isolating their thoughts, not unlike the Jedi would and moving in for a decisive counterargument. When correctly made, such assassination attempts reach a staggeringly high success percentage, even when performed by a me...organic.

I literally have the whole trilogy (DLC included) in my Steam backlog. Of course, I still bought some more damn games because of Gaben's jedi mind tricks.

You must be more careful. Lord Revan often taught meatbag assassins to hide their minds, as it were, to resist these tricks.

The first area in W3 is arguably the most boring. The game really opens up a few hours in when you get to the larger Novigrad/Velen map and then Skellige. I almost gave up in the first part because it was very draggy and boring. White Orchard. So boring. Once I left, never even revisited.

You've caught a glimpse into the future. DLC is coming. Must be a wormhole you snagged. How awesome is that.
