I think we can be carefully optimistic, since no one from BW outright said: No, there will be no DLCs for you! But carefully. You never know. The reason they have yet to say anything is so the game continues to sell. It's not because someone somewhere is making DLC and they're waiting for the right moment. If they confirm the reports that no DLC is planned now, it will harm the game's already-lackluster sales. Personally I have never bought a game, because there might be a DLC. And games not having a DLC was never a reason for me to not buy it. Is that really a thing? Is that something you guys consider, before buying a game?

Just looking at it purely from a business perspective, that has to be a factor in their reasoning. It doesn't need to make sense to us as consumers.

ME2 while receiving flack for being too streamlined. You're looking for Flak. It's a word actually rooted in WWII, with Flugabwehrkanonen (Anti-air cannons, literally). And it means strong criticism and opposition. That kind of makes sense, I guess, with Flak being at one time feared more than the Luftwaffles (typo intentional). It is interesting how you'd use the term, actually. Flak is rooted in an extreme opposition, which certainly was not the case. And if you want to say the same about Andromeda, well... *points at Cab Ranks during Operation Market-Garden engaging FlAK emplacements with little consequence* Some days I love BSN, for learning something interesting...

Well, yeah. But when is the next big event coming? San Diego Comic Con runs from Thursday, July 20th till Sunday, July 23rd. Specifically they'll be there on that Friday. Blair Brown, Mike Gamble, Fabrice Condominas and Mac Walters will be there. With these guys there this is the best chance they'll announce dlc, If not then the chances of dlc happening is slim to none, personally. From Twitter thread: Blair Brown @thefiddzz I'll be doing a signing at #SDCC at the @darkhorsecomics booth Friday at 3pm w/ @mike_Laidlaw @gamblemike @macwalterslives @faburisu !!! 3:00 p.m.–3:50 p.m. LZ MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA: Mac Walters, Fabrice Condominas, Mike Gamble DRAGON AGE: Mike Laidlaw, Blair Brown

I'm just going of off previous history. When it comes to BioWare there more likely to announce dlc at fan related events then say a E3 or Gamescom. These three guys are always doing the interviews and previewing the game when it comes to upcoming content. They wouldn't have bothered to go San Diego if otherwise. They only went to Montreal because it was right in their back yard. Which was why I feel that's the best chance they'll be a dlc announcement.

They'll be seated at a booth. Since it is unlikely they will stand on a table and shout "Andromeda DLC forthcoming!" I don't expect to hear anything at Comic Con. They chances of one of them announcing it during an interview is slim to none.

I haven't heard anything if this going (this particular panel and it's too early) to happen- to be live streamed or not, but San Diego is big enough to where you'll see live streams all over the place. That'd be a pretty boring live stream if all it is a signing and not being able to ask questions for 50 minutes and or show nothing.

Meanwhile I'm going to finish my first proper playthrough of Inquisition and wait for dragon age 4. Even if dlc doesn't come the series is not dead I'm pretty sure bioware just need to plan ahead for what another game might be. Anyway guys. Starfield might be a thing....maybe.....if Bethesda confirmed its existance.....

So to keep this active why do you guys like ME: A? I like it because I find the combat so much fun. I'm only now really getting the hang of different combos and explosions and whatnot, so I've been absolutely dominating the field with my biotic powerhouse. It's wonderful. I also like it because it gave us Drack. I never expected a krogan to end up being my favourite character. I'll admit, it hasn't managed to grip me emotionally as much as the OT, but there have been a few cinematic moments where I thought "this...is pretty epic", and I have grown fond of the game overall. Concerning the continued silence from EA/Bioware...It is disappointing, but not surprising. They'll say what they can, when they can. All we can do is hope they eventually address this mess, one way or the other, and we're not left hanging.

Just because they have only announced that they are there signing comics, it doesn't mean they won't be attending an EA event where DLC could be announced.

Hell, "signing comics" could be code for "shutting up the haters" for all we know.
It's hard to tell. Give it eleven days or thereabouts.

Yea like how a lot of times when a dev says "they can't about it" even when sh** its the fan its a codeword for "its coming, we just have legal reasons/timing to consider here"
