I Like This Theory About The Quarians DLC Reapers attacking the Quarians Ark a Reaper Named Tugged Okay, I'm not gonna lie, I've been a little bit worried about this scenario, meself. Something he said in the beginning made me need a timeline. He mentioned that somehow the Reapers find out about this Initiative. I immediately wanted to know a timeline for when exactly the Geth were eyeballing Andromeda (not to mention why, ofc). Soo, The AI left MW about one year before the events of ME3. It was in ME3 that we find out the Geth were all hooked into the Reapers. Now I know that the AI was started a long while back. Well, what was it 2173, or something like that? I'm just wondering how much info the Reapers had access to when they were hooked into the Geth? Could they have found out about the AI's interest in Andromeda through some Geth data bank? Idk how the AI got those maps from the Geth. That's the thing, how would the Reapers have known about the AI intention? Well, who knows who may have been indoctrinated, too. The AI was inot some..edgy.. research and development. Otoh, I also worry that Alec may have inadvertently put some Reaper tech in the whole SAM thing without fully understanding what he was doing. The upgrades to SAM and all that. Or maybe Alec did it, and acquired the tech, through the "help" of this Benefactor. Especially when we have those flashbacks with the family and Ryder says something like, "yeah, Dad infected our brains." I remember hearing that and thinking what an interesting choice of word both in game and meta. Hell, SAM could be a guddam homing signal. Oh, but wait, the Quarian Ark left late. Do we know how late? Or that was just kinda left open? I think it was left open. Eee, the Reapers might have spotted the Quarian ark and went in pursuit. That's a long way to go , though, for one Ark. Although, the Reapers are kind of stupid in their way. If it's their directive, Reaper/s might just ramble on after them. I am a bit concerned that we may have brought something with us by accident. And there's even this one Angaraan...diplomatic..mail exchange thing where one writer says just that. They say I hope you don't bring whatever it is you're running from with you. Yeah, me, too. I'm also secretly worried that the Scourge is some kind of residual effect of the firing of the Crucible. That would be messed up. If it was, omg. The Angaraan would be pissed. If it wasn't for the Scourge, I don't think the Kett would have been nearly, if at all, successful. I'm going to watch the rest of the vid now.

Just one correction: There is less than a year between ME2 and ME3 so it's impossible that the AI left the Milky Way one year before the Reapers arrival since they start their journey after the events of ME2.

Leave the Reapers in the MET. I want new enemies for ME: A. AI: dependent on pretty much fighter support since no other ship was designed to hold mass accelerator weapons. I am pretty sure they could still use torpedos or gardian lasers but decided against using weapons or it was forced on then to allow the construction of those big ships (don't think the Council would allowed a private fleet full of guns being build on the backyard of the Systems Alliance). Angara: Were just re-starting their own FLT space exploration after the scourge attack when the Kett arrived obliterating most of their weapons when they destroyed the angara military forces. Kett: Their ships doesn't really seem bigger on protection since one warship exploded after being hit by a few of their own missiles (during the rescue of the asari Ark). That being said yeah leave the Reapers on the Milky Way, i am sure one sovereign class would be more than enough to kick everyone asses and harvest the whole cluster.

Oh, no one's bothering me. I could give a damn about our sad set of trolls, but Lady Consular (aka: tigerlily) deleted her account. She would really rather talk about the game and characters, but these days there are very few threads about those things. I don't understand, did anyone say anything bad to her? Did i say anything bad to her? Nah. I doubt it was anything you said but she got involved in that that thread about sales and it probably got to be too much. She sounds like she has enough stuff in the real world to worry about without dealing with stress from an online forum. If she wants to return she will.

No Reapers pls. I want to know more about the Jardaan and the people who killed them. (Forgot the name of that race). I basically want to explore the lore of Andromeda, the Milky Way is so far away. I want to know what happens to Ryders mom and who the Benefector is and #SaveTheQuarians. The Reapers are so uninteresting right now.
So any DLCs that explores something about Andromeda would be good.

Frankly, I don't want anytime soon Reapers appearing... maybe later, when there are big towns and civilization is more stable. As it is now, it would be too much for the relatively few colonists of the Initiative. Not against the Quarian Ark having to run away from a Reaper and having the metal squid and having it trapped somewhere in the scourge to be used as a future problem.

I like the Geth but making them the protag for the Quarian ark would be a little too on the nose. They can be the enemy of the mission without being evil. I'm thinking more along the lines of stowaway geth and waking quarians coming to blows, neither are villains but we fight the geth at first because the Ai still views them as a menace because of the Battle of the Citadel. The story would likely end with finding peace.

Okay, so it was more like 6 months? But the Quarian Ark left...when? I know they were delayed because all those different species, etc. But I don't know how long. That's a tight window for the Quarian Ark. They've got six months before all hell breaks loose.

Then Ryder and the Initiative would be torn between either letting everyone know the truth, that they are "the last people of the milky way" (since it's impossible to know the outcome of the war ) or letting then live in blissfull ignorance. Damn i really need a DLC to finish this damn cliffhanger...

If the Quarian faces are revealed in the DLC, would you rather... They look somewhat human-like? This would make sense since lore-wise, Quarians are rumoured to be the most "human-looking", even more so than the Asari, since they apparently have hair as well. Exampleor... They look completely alien and "non-attractive" (if you get what I mean by this). Example

You know, and it's not that I'm advocating for Reapers in Andromeda. It's more that...I'm concerned. From an in-game perspective.
Like I said, on one hand I really can't see Reapers doing all that for one Ark. Otoh, they are some dedicated sob's.
Oh, did we find out the name of the enemies of the Jaardan? There's so many little things, it's a good chance I missed it.
I, too, want to more about the Jaardan. Specifically what they seemed to fear about Meridian. Especially since we're setting up house there. What was this war? Who were their enemies? Why did they abandon the Angaraan to deal with this shite themselves? But then, how close were the Angaraan and Jaardan?
Did the Quarian Ark run into these mysterious enemies of the Jaardan? I really, really, hope that the Quarian Ark did not just run into Kett. That would be boring. I would like their dilemma to be an opportunity to delve deeper into the mythos, mysteries and lore of Andromeda.
I want more species. I would love a dlc or sequel that takes us deeper. Cracks open the shell and we then see that there's so much more to Andromeda than what we saw in Heleus.
Blow my mind, BW. Take me there. Take off the kid gloves. We're in another galaxy. Nothing we know or understand should apply anymore. I want high strangeness. I want new, powerful mythos. Go outside the box. I want more..narrative intensity. Higher stakes. Not necessarily Galaxy wide stakes, but just more at stake. More sense of danger/ I felt pretty safe in MEA
We're established now. Except for the Quarian Ark! But Heleus is just the tip of the iceberg.
Srsly, take me there, or take me home.

That's the closest to lore abt their appearance that we have. So, "human looking" in their way. That photo from ME3, although photoshopped, is still the closest we have to precedence. They should just run with that idea, otherwise Tali is now the outlier and every other Quarian looks really "alien".
