I'm on board to Save the Quarians! Partly out of guilt because During my first playthrough of ME3, I sided with the Geth and hoped there would be an option to get both sides to agree to an armistice and unite with the rest of the Galaxy against the Reapers. I still remember Tali's suicide and my FemShep lunging to no avail to prevent her comrade and friend's suicide, but alas, she could not save Tali. *sniffle* There is a way though.

Do you think Bioware will keep the same suit-style the Quarians had back in ME2-3, or will they try to revamp a new one? Personally, I'd love it if the Quarians had at least 3 different suit-styles, just to make each Quarian NPC a bit more unique. I can say that I REALLY want, is a new model based a new concept art with some unique models for various races. Much like they did whit humans, krogans and turians (but turians have one type of armor). But unfortunately, Bioware artist has not yet created it, and I doubt they do.

A very important question... What's the light-colour of the Quarian Ark gonna be??? Well, we can rule out red, orange, green, and blue since those have been used, leaving yellow and purple left unless they go with a different shade of one of those other colors. I'm going to guess purple.

With Ian gone and the second book, seemingly, being jumped over I find myself doubting DLC 😕 I still hope for it, but it just seems so unlikely now.

yeah it seems DLC is getting less and less likely Despite the backlash when the game was released, it seems MEA wasn't a failure for EA. All ME and DA titles got some DLC at some point. And they heavily hinted at DLC within the main game (Quarian Ark). So not releasing at least one single SP DLC seems weird to me. I could understand if they had originally planned several DLCs, then decicded to reduce the number of DLC, because of the more or less bad reception the game got at release. But axing all DLC completely and not giving us fans the answers to all the loose ends at all, feels like a weird and bad decision to me. It would be a real shame if we didn't get at least one DLC that ties up some loose ends. It doesn't have to be a huge expansion or anything with 10+ hours new content. Just a small story pack with 2 or 3 hours worth of content that will tie up the most important loose ends of the main game and gives us a satisfactory farwell to MEA (as we probably will have to wait several years until the next ME game comes out).

The decision to merge EA Montreal into Motive sounds like it was made prior to release, which realistically means that DLC was probably never on the cards, at least from the Montreal guys. I don't really understand who has been running MP and developing patches, though. Either Motive (as they're known now) have inherited ME responsibilities along with the staff, or another Bioware studio has been doing it.

So I'm confused we aren't getting DLC? The word "dlc" has never been said once in these reports. All we know is that they've been merged to help produce a new ip. The idea that this move means no dlc for MEA is just fan speculation, because that's all we can do with the franchise at this point.

So I'm confused we aren't getting DLC? Tbh, at this stage I'd be surprised if we do. Typically the first DLC of any game gets made by the same studio who did the base game, but it sounds like from Frazier's tweets and how long this move has been going on for that Motive aren't running ME support and it's not clear who the responsibilities for patching and MP fall to. While I doubt they'll drop the MP altogether this just doesn't sound like a realistic landscape for building DLC. If there is anything under dev, I'd imagine it would be at Austin. It seems a bit odd that Edmonton have both Anthem and DA on their plates but all Austin are doing is TOR, which I didn't think needs that much support. This entire Montreal/Motive thing only has any relevance to DLC if they were actually responsible for DLC, which given what we know now, isn't realistic. If another studio had it, then it would be unaffected. The basic thing is that I very much doubt any DLC chances were affected by this as it was either not under dev or under dev by someone else. They also never actually announced any DLC or Season Pass, so taking the development troubles into account, there's every chance it was never on the cards. My bottom line hasn't changed - until I hear something one way or the other, there's little point speculating about it's likelihood.

Has anyone asked Catherynne Valente if her book isn't being released? As for DLC, can't lose hope. It could come from Edmonton or Austin. I suspect Montreal, as a BW studio, has been out of the picture for a while.
