No you're not. You've been mocking and insulting people who wanted DLC for MEA as well as wanting all Bioware's franchises to fail. Implying they didn't also deserve mocking They don't deserve it. If you're trying to escalate things, get out.

Has anyone asked Catherynne Valente if her book isn't being released? As for DLC, can't lose hope. It could come from Edmonton or Austin. I suspect Montreal, as a BW studio, has been out of the picture for a while. I can't imagine either of them is going to take the time for that. Anthem is due out soonish and so I bet its all hands on that for Edmonton, maybe some on DA as well. As for Austin, I guess they do things, maybe? Aye, Edmonton does have a lot on it's plate. Anthem, DA4, but most of the production leads for ME:A are in Edmonton. The only ones who weren't were Yannick, Ian and Frabrice, and Fabrice has moved from Montreal to Edmonton. If, and I stress the if, Edmonton were to take on the ME franchise again they'd grow out the studio. As for Austin, I believe they've done ME work before. I think it was DLC for the OT.

I can't see Edmonton working on this on the top of the two projects they have. Maybe Austin? I'm sure will learn soon one way or the other.

Grounds for DLC:Pro: - Every game since Jade Empire has had some.
- The Quarians were specifically teased in the main game.
- BioWare usually doesn't reveal DLC until it arrives.
- 5-6 months has happened before after a difficult launch.
- Dragon Age 2 had DLC despite a difficult launch.
Con: - With the EA Motive merger, who's been developing it?
- The Kotaku speculations.
- BioWare folk moving on.
- Despite it being usual the silence has been deafening.
There are a great many people invested in the story. If it's NOT happening, it would be really nice to know.

Backlash But i don't know if it's better to keep it under the rug and blowing up in their faces later with a bigger force or just tell us now and live with it BioWare has dealt with worse backlash, though. Have they? People often cite DA2 but out side of Bioware fans, people didn't hear about that game (I certainly didn't) being bad. But ME:A's backlash seems to be all encompassing, everyone seems to have heard of it, even friends that don't play video games.

That's true but it was only the ending of the game. The game as a whole was received quite well (89 on Metacritic), where as the entirety of ME:A was hated on (I won't go into where it was rightly or wrongly) story, characters, animations etc.

I fail to see the benefit of not telling us--especially for this long. Maybe stating there won't be DLC could affect sales of the game. After all, many people seem to have bought Andromeda expecting there to be DLC. Then again, maybe they still haven't made up their minds? It's a little late in the game for that though.

Another Con to add to that list is that MEA most likely didnt beat DAI's sales and that MEA is the lowest rated Bioware game ever.

As DAI was GOTY 2014, beating it's sales seems an unreasonable bar to set. DAI's metacritic was in the 80's MEA's in the 70's, no reason not to do DLC in my view.

After all, many people seem to have bought Andromeda expecting there to be DLC. Then again, maybe they still haven't made up their minds? It's a little late in the game for that though. The decision has been made at launch or shortly there after. If there is dlc then it's a timing issue at this point. As announcing to early people might forget about it. Really, all the damage as been done the first couple of weeks. So, I doubt it's a sales issue. Only hardcore fans care about it at this point; hardcore fans being us.

I would to say that I am disappointed with EA and Bioware on the way they disrespect the fans that buy the games they make as their moto is get the money and who cares what the fans think afterwards.
The truth is that after they get our money they do not care.
Many people want DLC for the game and they say nothing to the fans so it does not harm the sales of the game. They should be ashamed for the way they disrespect the people who buy their games.

Until EA/BW says there's nothing else coming for MEA I'm going to hold out that there is.

... The truth is that after they get our money they do not care. ... Please don't think I'm arguing with your point because I understand it. But I think the concern fans have that the publishing company 'cares' is an interesting one (and what does that even mean, appointing a 'hugs director'?) The 'deal' games companies make is ultimately only for the game (in physical or digital form) and for any associated online service. Though if there is a sales value in 'caring', EA/BioWare's PR/Marketing seem ill equipped to quantify it...

So the best DLC in the entire ME franchise was done by Austin? Thats good news. The Descent was DLC for DA not ME and, personally, it was the worst DLC of DA:I. Indeed. However.... it was the worst of the DAI DLC in the same way MEA is the worst of the ME games i.e. more of a reflection on how good the others were then any major issue with yours truly. While Beggars can't be choosers, I certainly wouldn't have any concerns with Austin working on MEA DLC. They certainly proved they know what they're doing.
