I like the head shape better. Previous was too eggy. This one is edgy'ier.

I am glad that this campaign is going so well. I think at this point it makes a business sense (to me) that there should be at least one story DLC. Obviously fans want it so it should make a profit (really anything ME franchise should make profit anyway). And it is one way to make people forget about somewhat poor reception at the beginning.

He looks more alien, that is how i would describe it. Not that the old design didn't look different but yeah this one is better.

It made me remember the revised design for the elcor (more muscular) and Vorcha (skin tone and foot) on Omega DLC.

Yo, that petition that had almost no signatures for a week just tipped over 1,000 and counting a moment ago, thanks to us signal-boosting it everywhere...

SP DLCs are usually about, what? $15? That's like saying "we guarantee $15,000+ spent on purchasing this DLC" right now. I have no idea if that's good or pathetic, but it's a number.

Ugh....>/////< okay I'll shut up about august. I hope Bioware will notice all of this stuff. Maybe if this is successful it will lead to the game being more well received. Similar to how battlefield 4 started out I heard horror stories about that one...

I tried to find a picture of the old design from a similar angle to the new design and there's definitely a couple of small differences, I think. The new design has a less egg-shaped skull as carefull noted. It also feels like the top eyes are of similar size to the bottom eyes. In the old design, the top eyes seem smaller than the bottom eyes. The facial features like the "ripples" on the forehead and the nostrils also seem more pronounced and less flat like on the old design. The same for the "protrusions" that frame the eyes, mouth and central part of the face. I think it may be that the face seems more proportionate than it did before. It may be a result of the Frostbite Engine as others have said but in any case, I very much like this design.

That Kett armor, I'm guessing it's Kett, does a lot toward making that model more ferocious looking. The eyes are definitely deeper set.

Overall this gets a huge thumbs up as an improvement over the previous model.

Cryo pods have many effects others than keeping a person alive. Krogan turn multi-coloured, asari faces amalgamate into two appearances, and batarians put on weight.

That too but I couldn't quite tell if that was due to the armor as the old model appeared to have a bulkier neck when wearing armor or clothes with certain kinds of collars. You're right about the chin as well. I like both changes as the more pronounced chin looks better, in my opinion, and there was always something about the design of the batarian neck that I just didn't like.

Seeing that new batarian design really brought back my wish for a non-"evil" batarian squadmate, permanent or temporary. Still want to learn more about their race like culture, language and such.
