The batarian has a more 3D look to him which gives his face more intensity. There is a kind of depth to his eyes I think as well from that. It's the reason why I think so many of the heads in the CC looked ugly to people at first. But for aliens - Profit!

I agree. Overall, Frostbite Batarians look more angular and frightening - quite lovely and very alien. On the old engine, they were much more egg-headed. They just kinda looked like a human shaved their head and put on a cheap Halloween mask. MEA Batarians look more like this is their actual skull structure.

Also, back on the overall thread subject, I saw a few disappointing things in my newsfeed and on the #SaveTheQuarians hashtag recap page. I made a series of tweets to address this and am posting them here as well as a friendly reminder. Mayhaps mercury could please add them to the OP when you have a chance? (I have mod powers to just edit them in myself, but I don't want to be rude.)

Users of this hashtag, an announcement: Please remember to be positive and/or kind in this request.

Back-handed compliments to the dev team aren't exactly motivating. Let's not be rude or insulting when showing SUPPORT.

Tweet to @ea, @bioware & @masseffect, not individual devs. None of those poor folks are the company decision-makers.

Don't be mean to the MP devs by tweeting them & saying "Don't care about MP, where's my SP DLC?". That's not cool.

MP devs are doing their job & they can't say anything about SP. Don't rain on their parade. That doesn't help SP.

In all likelihood, the Quarians are probably already coming, or they aren't.

The main thing we're doing here is spreading some good will for a game that got quite a kicking at launch but has a chance to redeem itself in public eyes.

Not to worry, I'll add them now.

I cant believe how much the petition numbers have jumped since we started this - of course, 1k alone wont be enough but the fact that it jumped up in a matter of two days to that number means it can climb higher.

Some comments on the youtube trailer are harsh but still.. all the top comments are asking for SP DLC and theyve been upvoted hundreds of times

Our voice is getting louder it seems, but lets keep it positive!

I agree...this design looks and feels more refreshed.....i always got the "old man" vibe from batarians...as in "get off my lawn" vibe from them...idk....their demeanor seemed like they was a group of grumpy old men..... :lol:

......again tho, this design is an improvement over the old one....

I've just finished an A5 rough-sketch of my #SaveTheQuarian ~~propaganda~~ artwork.

It's my Ryder on a planet that looks like Rannoch, and he's looking at the Quarian ark that's crashing onto the planet.

Used my Twitter to spreed the word and signed the petition, that's all I can do I think. I really hope someone asks BW on comiccon about the Quarians and maybe someone brings a sign with the hashtag.

I did write something for the FanBook someone gave to Patrick Weekes on the old/offcial BSN Forum. Where we put together a collection of messages, because we wanted more time with our favourite characters in ME3. (At least that's what I remember, it was a long time ago). And after that we got the Citadel DLC. So I encourage everyone to keep the support coming, BW is always open to listen to their fans.
