Except that's the exact thing Jason did in his story about troubled ME:A development.

He kept anonymity of BioWare dev safe, while directly quoting him or her.
Yet he didn't do any of that sort for later on articles about ME put on ice and no DLC's for ME:A, as well noting his sources are "familiar with BioWare", not BioWare dev.

As a reader of honest-to-goodness newspapers for some time now, I know that naming your source is what gets them fired. There was a recent article in the Washington Post with many unnamed sources, and there are many quotes. Try a Google search for "Obama's secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin's election assault" if you'd like a how-to.

And any suggestion that I want people to get fired or am selfish for demanding better reporting is insulting.

I would love some DLC but I doubt Jason would have done all he did just to lie. Also I feel like BioWare and Ea would have said something by now if he was lying.  Like they had no problem saying that network was full of shit but they won't say anything about Jason. 

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but is there any kind of organized #SaveTheQuarians effort by anyone attending? It would be nice to show in-person support for the devs.

This is the first time I saw this. I think the weird questions came about as a result of the panel having to keep their information on certain topics off-limits. I also saw a lot of love for the franchise. Is it always this awkward at these events?

Yeah, but at the time everyone was shooting at the dark with questions and it way too early in development for BioWare to give much of concrete answers.
In fact in video they said you can use your armours pieces to be used as your casual outfit. That feature seems to have been cut out from ME:A long ago, as it was not mentioned ever again.

But for Montreal Comic Con, it will be different. Game will be out for nearly 4 months, by the time Montreal Comic Con panel starts for ME:A. While 2 of the devs on that panel worked exclusively on Singleplayer portions of the game( I can't verify for other 2, as they don't have twitter accounts). So there is a high likelihood that BioWare will make a statement for future content for Singleplayer portion of ME:A, on that panel.
