Gonna be tough waiting for the pc version. But I only have the old ps4 pro and can't imagine going back to those load times and fps locks after playing the first one on pc Jus ts oyou know it's available on PS4 as well bu tyeah I knowwha tyou mean. It's one of the main reasons why I hav eZero daewn installed on m ySSD rathe rthan th rHDD onm ysystem. Loading times can sometimes still b epretty lon gthoug heven on m ySSD so I can' timagine how long it would take if I had it on my HDD

I’m making an active effort to beat scalpers to the punch this year, so hopefully I’ll be able to get a PS5 and play it on that this year. I don’t really want to play it on my base PS4.

Justsomething t othink about if yo uwant a good bargain.

I decided in late 2021 to try to pick up a digital PS5, primarily ready for this game, but I'll never pay a scalper. It took some effort, but I subscribed to some of the PS5 stock availability twitter accounts. I had two near misses, but I'm often online so one tweet I spotted within a minute of posting and I got one. It's a pain having to do it this way, but real stock (at base price) exists, it just needs planning and patience. Good luck.

Here's a vid on difficulty options I found on the game. It looks like they'er trying t omake it as accessible as HZD is which is good.

If you purchase the ps4 version, don't you get a free upgrade to the ps5 version when you get the console? I recently transferred my save data from my ps4 to my ps5 for Horizon Zero Dawn. Since I downloaded the game to my ps4, I was able to redownload it for the ps5. When I started a new game plus, all my save data from the ps4 showed up.

Since I don't have a PS5, nor am I chomping at the bit to get one as of right now, even if they were more available. I decided I'm going to give it a whirl on the Pro and hope for the best.

Yeah they are difficful tto ge thold of atm. It's one of the main reasons why I'm glad I made my move for my PC when I di das I've got the Series X/PS5 tech in my system and I managed t oget it around the firs tCovid lockdown so I'm covered fo ran ynwe games for this gen once any of interest to me show up. Looks like the first of those games will be Forspoken given I believe that's a next gen only release and tha treleases in May.

Okay, last tribe video.
The Oseram were the most underdeveloped of the tribes, since the Banuk got a DLC to flesh them out. Hopefully we get a bit more in Forbidden West.
In a few days I’ll have my last Horizon video for now: Project Zero Dawn

Another review. The animations are definitely a lot better than the first game. Good to see the devs making improvements! 👍 Also great to hear the story is just as good. I'll expect live stream of the game play at least on the 17th so I'll be watching for that.

In a few days I’ll have my last Horizon video for now: Project Zero Dawn Thanks again Heimdall I enjoyed the Oseram in the game, Petra was one of my favourite characters and yeah it's a shame that they didn't get more screen time in HZD. I too thought of the dwarves in DA as a comparison in terms of their culture etc.

I think for me he was probably m yfavouriet Oseram character just met him again in my lates tplaythrough as I'm working through the Proving part of the game atm. But my favourite quest in the game I think is the one where I help him find his sister and all that.

I didn't really enjoy the first game or at least all its elements, killer ending though...but this game just looks so damn pretty. What was it you didn't like, genuinely interested as it is one of my favourite games for many reasons? Pull up a chair. Minor complaints lets see here: I know this is a me thing but gotta get it out there didn't always like this style of combat. I don't know why because Vahalla did something similar but just this whole think about it thing and the weakspots...I just found it very very frustrating at times. -I didn't really like Alloy as a protagonist at first. I also thought her voice acting was VERY monotone at times and emotionaless and similar bits with the character writing, there was no real oomph to anything which was frustrating and its frustrating because I have heard her in other roles and she does fine there, most notably kate bishop in the Avengers game...and she also really did better in the ending both writing and voice acting but there is that. -Didn't care for a lot of the side activities I guess, I am struggling to remember now that you ask I was anticipating someone asking but yeah, having an issue with the minor stuff. But yes a lot of the jumping and exploration wasn't always the best. -Story felt a bit empty at times to. Major complaints: -No real save system. -Hooorrrriibbbbbblllleee RP. Like there is pretty much no way to truly make Alloy your own and this game was highlighted as being an RPG. I will say though that I did love a lot of the side characters and the ending of this game rocks. I do cite HZD and Vahalla as probably being the two best endings in games, or if not that the two best endings thaat actually made the game before them a lot better. Lot of things came together.

I want to get hyped for Forbidden West but until it has a PC date I'm trying to temper that and try to just continue enjoying Zero Dawn as a standalone game. Did the proving last night on the slow walk towards Meridian now. But I at least just picked up the DLC items and the ability to override machines so going to be fun riding them or watching them fight one another rather than me all the time.

I do cite HZD and Vahalla as probably being the two best endings in games, or if not that the two best endings thaat actually made the game before them a lot better. Lot of things came together. I really liked the combat even though pin point shooting like doing head shots in shooters is just not my thing but I liked it in HZD and specifically because it was often necessary. I liked the bows and other weapons and how using different ones for different circumstances made a difference. I am not sure I could not like Aloy TBH, I thought she was a great protagonist and definitely my second favourite by just a little bit to Kassandra. I thought her VA was very nuanced and that she voiced Aloy's sarcasm, snarky and angry stuff quite well but there was a lot of repetitive passive type dialogue when it rained etc. Side activities were a bit MEH but the aim of the I think was to mostly make you explore more so I didn't mind that aspect of the game. The jumping was a real issue for me as the animation made it always seem like she was going to miss and I have a height thing in RL and games make me experience like RL physically. I didn't have a problem with the save system, I don't really remember getting angry if I died in that it never seemed to go to far back or drop you in some random arse place. Mmmm story wise I thought it was pretty simple but good and the over arching story I really enjoyed discovering during the game. I haven't played it for a bit but overall I didn't really have too many issues at all with the game that I can think of except it did take me a while to get the knack of combat and a while to get into the story. I thought most of the NPC's were a real positive for the game too. Anyway each to his own, I was just surprised you didn't like it more as I thought all the bow stuff in particular you would have loved.

Bow stuff and hot red head wielding said bow adds like plus 10 to charm but its not an insta thing. And well I do want to make clear in case people are wondering why I am here but I am still interested in the sequel. A lot of the game was a bit weak for me, as I referenced, but I loved the ending and I loved the lore drops for what project zero dawn is and I loved the teases for the future...and I also loved Sylens so am quite curious about what he is up to with the remnant from Hades so I am quite of curious to see where this story will go in the future now that the first game was obviously so much about setting things up and introducing things. Without that weight can it pay off that set up and tell a great story? Can it improve upon my issues? Maybe I will find out one day by playing it but I will certainly be checking out lets plays in the meantime.
