He does kinda but it's basically cryo gauntlet without the cryo. Doesn't hit any where near as hard and it doesn't have the classic sound effect the old one had either.

I only have it at rank iii due to all the pointless junk they added. I went all melee so didn't have many points in snap. It has a different visual effect but it is so similar to cryoblast I don't know how it differs yet in truth other than having a bigger radius by default.

Snap Freeze:

It does prime red bars immediately, it works through light cover not through walls. Batarian Gauntlet detonates cryo combos.

Lack of blade armour makes me sad.

He does indeed detonate with melee. I snap froze an adhi, then punched his lights out. I did notice however that if enemies are leaning in a certain way on the ground, you can't punch them. You just hit a wall instead. Weird.

Will be interesting to see the builds emerge for this class

Ok, so now I can tell this is one of the best future characters for platinum. And future - because now 99% of people kite on platinum, what is not the right play if you can handle the match.

This character is built for going forward and he's amazing. However if you have 2 infiltrators on the team who just hide, most likely you will die a lot with this guy.

Melee lasts too long so he's no way gonna detonate and do damage with that. (with charge that would be possible).

He's armor melter. And crowd controller even on platinum. Remnant however will be his weakness. Probably using disruptor ammo and conc shot would be required if you would like to feel comfortable in the match against them. But for now I take combat power and shield bonuses while I still don't have about 20 points from ranks and all missing in fitness.

But that would be the best build I see at the moment.
