Platinum impresions

I wouldn't dare PUGing Platinum, even Gold with PUGs is hearth attack after hearth attack at times. Plat is definitely a "go with your friends or die" difficulty level.

Let the people without stealth who go into upload/hack zones bleed out after the first try. Or pray you get devices/recovery. And yes, stealth classes seem to be nearly a must.

If only they did bleed out...

My last try had hack on 4th wave and even after i asked them to leave the hack area they insisted on luring every boss in there, kept reviving eachother aswell.

Either stupid or the push to talk isn't working.

As for upload i didn't have an issue yet since it splits the enemy it's much easier.

Just finished mine, first try. With PUGs. 

Go For The Eyes makes it easy, curious to see how it is with no modifiers. Had no real difficulty, it's the same as Gold pretty much if you're a good player. LOL at all the people (and devs) who are like OMG IT'S GONNA BE SO HERD YALL

The top scorer there had HumInt at XX, so that probably helped.

I think people have to keep in mind, that players are not fully maxed out yet (again).

With the added cards, guns etc... we're going to get stronger and get some cool perks on guns to help with the challenging stuff. It's like hitting level 20 on a character without all the cards and going into gold right away with a level 7 Avenger. That shit was a pain.

But with all the cards (and skill points to use) and harder hitting weapons, then gold became much easier. Right now though, it's a learning curve and loot curve until people collect some better shit.

Maybe you have a shitty manifest? Or just aren't very good. I mean, 17:30 extraction on mine with a PUG (no communications active, either) and we had just about the same amount of downs as a Gold match. I think I only used 3 revives and one was a ragegel. And you can see one of ours was a total carry. 

I'll try some regular matches later instead of the APEX, but I doubt it's gonna be much different. Bring a good kit and a good weapon and git gud. Donezo.

Have you even fought with purple Destroyers? It's ridiculous to compare them with gold Destroyers.

Does the Hurricane come in the 3 new flavors of weapons though?  The one that heals you or adds damage resistance?  At least if the gun is barely hitting them, you have the ability to add some passives.

And I think that Veteran bonus crap, is mostly power damages like combos, melees and powers.  It didn't do much for weapons.

Again, it's not hard at all, the only challenging part is if you get hack, because Cobras don't deal any damage. Still manageable, the only option I see to potentially fail is if you get 3xhacks/uploads, whatever.

Anyone try Barricade with 6(whatever) Electric Defense? I am curious if it's still useful? Or too many bosses plowing it down?

Still useful for priming and covering. Bosses are slow and by the time they reach me, I move to another place.

Besides, in Platinum you need all the cover you can get.


Try it if you wanna be on the floor all the time.
