While not a satisfactory answer I managed to get most of the stuttering to go away when I used the Auto setting in the graphics options. It lowered my resolution to 900p but it did get better.

Those specs barely meet the minimum. You won't be able to play at full resolution without issues.

Those specs barely meet the minimum. You won't be able to play at full resolution without issues. Yes: Mass Effect Andromeda PC System Requirements: Minimum: OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Recommended: OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10Minimum: PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350Recommended: PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350 Minimum: MEMORY: 8 GB RAMRecommended: MEMORY: 16 GB RAMMinimum: VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB Recommended: VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GBHARD DRIVE: At least 55 GB of free space DIRECTX: DirectX 11By way of that I noticed you are using the 750 TI OC. Which manufacturer version: PNY, EVGA, MSI, ZOTAC, ASUS, Gigabyte, Sapphire, or XFX? Not all manufacture brands are equal. The 750 TI OC Which -as pointed out is below the minimum specifications to run this game. Has Mass Effect Andromeda ever locked up on you? If not -then you must have a stout 550 TI OC to be able to endure the punishment this game can cause. In my experience most Nvidia graphic cards of the 500 series usually don't handle loads well if the card is working above even 60*C. Use MSI Afterburner program and look at the temps the graphics card is running. If it is going over 60*C and jagging or stuttering the card most likely is trying to work to hard. If that is the case you need to reduce graphics as soon as you can. Again using MSI Afterburn and turn the Graphics card fan to 100% while gaming -most cards -unless otherwise told default to 30%. Most people probably will not believe it but the lower you get the temp on the graphics card the faster and smoother the game will run. Compared to maxing it out and actually frying the graphics card. My last piece of advice is to lower all graphic settings to min values INCLUDING resolution. I know it may not be ideal. Yet in this situation you need to ask yourself: Do you want to play the game or buy a $100-350 replacement card? ONE LAST ITEM OF HELP: You could also try reducing the scaling to 0.90... - this will significantly reduce load on the graphics card but at sharpness cost... as you take number lower gets more blurry. 0.90 seems rather to be in line with a standard game while anything higher seems to be going to high definition... don't advise 70 though... even I can barely take it.

I have an Asus gtx750ti oc and it usually runs around 60c° I'm playing .90 scaling and resolution of 1360x768 game usually is at 60 fps even during fights , but as I said I tend to have some stuttering or whatever you may call it it's not constant it's just randomly , I noticed that during a cutscene it had more stuttering than normal, hence why I came over and yes I'm aware of my spec being on minimum but honestly speaking I've run more demanding games like Witcher 3 and almost everything on high with good stable fps.
With that being said I appreciate the suggestions and any help that anyone can provide, thanks so much.

Also; yes you do have a good graphics card: ASUS -one of the best. Zotac, Asus and MSI are currently the better ones for Nvidia. PNY, Sapphire and Gigabyte are good Nvidia economy cards. EVGA... don't ... just don't get me started. Now they used to be good I will grant them that but since about 2013-2014 they have really dropped the ball on adequate cooling. Any company that does not give adequate cooling to their cards and then lets people buy the fire traps of a card...just no. Source: If you must ask: 7 EVGA cards all R.I.P. -2 from fire! Don't believe me: wccftech.com/nvidia-gtx-1080-evga-catches-fire-video/XFX... Last I knew they had stopped making Nvidia cards. Other items to try is shut down all background processes and or programs except the game. Try turn Vsync off if it is on or vice versa. Depending on your monitor size you may want to lower the resolution a bit. If more than 24 inch try two resolution sizes down: 1152x864 If less than 24 inch go one resolution size down: 1280x1024 Resolution lowerment may hurt but sometimes if all else fails it can be a final option. Or if you would rather experiment with custom resolutions you can always input your own custom like: 1024x1024 into a "user.cfg" file for use in game.

I had placed an order for EVGA 1080ti w/water cooling for $809 at NewEgg. I read only one bad review and it was that the watercooler unit had leaked. They hadn't processed the order yet, so I cancelled and changed it to an MSI 1080ti w/water cooling for $799. 16 reviews and all five eggs filled. It's going to be here in about 8-10 days.

I have that problem too But only (or mostly I'm not sure) on Nexus. I also have this problem. I haven't played the game in a month or so, but to me it seemed like a memory leak rather than a real performance issue. Game runs fine and all over sudden the stuttering starts and slows performance down to a crawl. Quitting and restarting usually took care of the problem.

I run it with an i5-2500K and GTX770. Processor won't be an issue, but even my 770 seems to be fighting it. Might wanna consider getting a better GPU?
Game behaves a bit like yours. I can get decent FPS, but sometimes it'll stutter and it's not stable in any way. Our rigs just aren't exactly up there among the top of the line things anymore.

I've also been reading in the EA HQ that 8MB simply might not be enough. One user posted that she upgraded to 16GB, that issue disappeared. I don't know if that's a real solution or one that just happened to work out for her on her computer. The PS4 hasn't had the issue since 1.05.

I don't know if that's a real solution or one that just happened to work out for her on her computer. The PS4 hasn't had the issue since 1.05. Going from 8GB to 16GB made a difference for me back in DAI, so it should do some good for MEA too. Also something to have in mind - I believe the last patch (1.09) introduced decent optimizations in the graphic department. My GPU (1080Ti) used to reach 84C easily in MEA (playing at 1080p with everything at max settings) and I had to set a custom fan curve in order to keep the temperature at about 70-75C. It's a bit hot right now where I live, so the ambient temperature of the room is at it's peak for the year. After patch 1.09 I noticed my GPU to be mostly between 55-65C and with a bit less overall load. Graphic settings are the same as before and I visited the same areas as before. It might be something that works for specific systems and not for everyone, but 1.09 just might have made it easier for the GPUs to run the game.

I'm running a GeForce 4 with a Pentium 4 1.4ghz and I get this: What am I looking for? That it runs smooth? Yes, it does. Most of the time. Stutters happen randomly. I'm not sure if it's an actual memory leak or certain transitions between cells. That the objects don't load properly or at a very slow rate.

Pentium 2 266 Mhz, 32 MB RAM and Permedia 2 GPU with 8 MB RAM. Was a beast back then I tell you!
Although the first PC I actually played a game on was a...dunno to be honest but the game was Karateka and it was around 1984 I believe.
Sorry for joining the derailing of the thread.

The first pc i played on had a p90 in it. Must have been around 94/95 I think.
I was very much a megadrive> PlayStation person then, before I repented and see the light.

Only thing I used my Mac for was Doom and Marathon. *sniff* I wish Bungie would see the light and re release that series for everyone.

Just making sure you aware that it can be an issue at times. I would rather buy an EVGA over a Zotac. I had to return one so many times the store upgraded me to the next closest card when I was buying my 970.

I have what I would call a "1 percenter" type of rig and even I get occasional stutters as the game streams in assets in the background.
