I have an Asus gtx750ti oc and it usually runs around 60c° I'm playing .90 scaling and resolution of 1360x768 game usually is at 60 fps even during fights , but as I said I tend to have some stuttering or whatever you may call it it's not constant it's just randomly , I noticed that during a cutscene it had more stuttering than normal, hence why I came over and yes I'm aware of my spec being on minimum but honestly speaking I've run more demanding games like Witcher 3 and almost everything on high with good stable fps. With that being said I appreciate the suggestions and any help that anyone can provide, thanks so much. Just making sure you aware that it can be an issue at times. Also; yes you do have a good graphics card: ASUS -one of the best. Zotac, Asus and MSI are currently the better ones for Nvidia. PNY, Sapphire and Gigabyte are good Nvidia economy cards. EVGA... don't ... just don't get me started. Now they used to be good I will grant them that but since about 2013-2014 they have really dropped the ball on adequate cooling. Any company that does not give adequate cooling to their cards and then lets people buy the fire traps of a card...just no. Source: If you must ask: 7 EVGA cards all R.I.P. -2 from fire! Don't believe me: wccftech.com/nvidia-gtx-1080-evga-catches-fire-video/XFX... Last I knew they had stopped making Nvidia cards. Other items to try is shut down all background processes and or programs except the game. Try turn Vsync off if it is on or vice versa. Depending on your monitor size you may want to lower the resolution a bit. If more than 24 inch try two resolution sizes down: 1152x864 If less than 24 inch go one resolution size down: 1280x1024 Resolution lowerment may hurt but sometimes if all else fails it can be a final option. Or if you would rather experiment with custom resolutions you can always input your own custom like: 1024x1024 into a "user.cfg" file for use in game. how do i add the custom resolution in user.cfg? i will try that suggestion and perhaps tweak more options, either way it makes not much sense to have 60 fps almost all the time with some drops cause of the stuttering when my system seems to be running this game just fine, someone else mentioned a possibility of memory leak which i wouldnt be surprised, this game seems to have optimization issues or the lack of it. thanks guys.

I would rather buy an EVGA over a Zotac. I had to return one so many times the store upgraded me to the next closest card when I was buying my 970. What was the exact issue if you remember? Hmm I've never had an issue with my EVGA cards. Got a EVGA FTW 1079 and it's great. Not saying you're wrong maybe I'm just lucky. VERY LUCKY. While I have been very extremely unlucky with my seven: For me EVGA used to be a good brand. However since late 2014 they have cut corners in production and no not referring to the 970/980 heat-pipe debate. Referring to breaking brackets, breaking springs, missing screws, cracked/broken fan(s) -after only a few hours of use. One that really gets me is the claim that card is non- reference and the card turns out to be reference -even when on the box it shows otherwise. It is annoying how the heat-piple issue conflicts with the efficient cooling of those cards though... Also when RMA'ing a DOA new card -they give a refurbished card -I paid for new -not something that has no telling how long it will actually last. The main thing about them that irks me is again -is not that they didn't fix it but they actually made a card available that COULD CATCH FIRE! There are many forests around here... If I had that card and it was running in my computer -which runs 24/7 and burned the house down and the forest as well... no ... just no. BTW did they ever fix the FTW overheating issue? how do i add the custom resolution in user.cfg? i will try that suggestion and perhaps tweak more options, either way it makes not much sense to have 60 fps almost all the time with some drops cause of the stuttering when my system seems to be running this game just fine, someone else mentioned a possibility of memory leak which i wouldnt be surprised, this game seems to have optimization issues or the lack of it. thanks guys. I would surmise so then... maybe EVGA is getting back on track... Lets just say that like many people affected by the ending of ME3. I have had the same resulting scars from EVGA. If they work for you.

One was the card just didn't work and the others had something to do with the fan, either being too noisy or not working at all. The store did test the card when I took it back and they told me they wouldn't have accepted what it was doing either.

Were the cards third-party fans (non-reference card) or were the cards out of the box reference cards? Did they check the 3-pin connection on the side of the fan -if the card had a non-reference fan to make sure it was not severed? I can understand the fan sound -I actually like loud fans -tells me it is working.

Guess it is good to always research before buying. I personally spend about month researching the specific graphics card I am going to purchase -must see it before I buy not just the box. The last 2 cards I have used are Zotac cards with third-party fans that are solid and this one has been running not stop for over a year.

I think program controlled and at 100%. I'd have to double check but I'm getting ready for bed. Early day selling liquor tomorrow lol.

Fan at 100%? Game controled? Or fan program controlled? I think program controlled and at 100%. I'd have to double check but I'm getting ready for bed. Early day selling liquor tomorrow lol. Get your sleep. I am sorry that I will not be a customer -don't drink - I am sure you know the reason. If not don't worry I am sure someone will explain...eventually. Good. I too prefer to use the MSI Afterburner program with my ZOTAC card to keep fan at 100% all the time. I had a card once ... sorry but it was an EVGA... 7600GT I believe that kept defaulting to 30% when running games at that time that were resource demanding... Didn't know about the Fan programs at the time. The card burned up when I tried to run I think it was either Red Alert 3 or Borderlands 1 on max settings. Used Fan programs ever since.
