Have all of my common classes to XX, basic packs are not returning anything other than boosters/consumables. Is this by design or another amazing QA issue?

On stream they said the new mods are obtained specifically through the item store.

Thank you. That's...very strange, but I guess they want a near infinite MF sink as well as the credit sink.

I'd rather open weapon mods from the item store than open stupid Sniper Rifle ammo clip extension mods for a 100k that I'll never use.

On stream they said the new mods are obtained specifically through the item store. That is completely f***ing stupid, I mean most of those mods are complete trash anyway but seriously? From just equipment being added weekly alone it would take months upon MONTHS to unlock all the new weapon mods. What the hell were they thinking???

Imagine these trash on top of all the other stuff now in packs. Until they buff them, and huge buffs are needed because right now they're effectively a nerf if you dare using them. Tiny advantages over the regular mods, but huge penaltys to "balance" them. Glad I'm not forced to see this in my packs. I suppose it will eventually be added to the regular packs anyway ...

That way, we can happily ignore them all and not have them cluttering up our precious stuff.

Are these new mods really an intended part of patch 1.09? I don't think so, because without reading here, I would have never found them. I have all regular mods maxed and these new are not showing up anywhere. My guess is that they come from SP and only store is messed up through faulty programming.

you know how long it takes to get 120 mission funds..... 1 day of Strike Teams + Daily Challenges. More realistically slightly more than 1 day because you won't get all 60 MF from Strike Teams every day. But don't waste your MF on shitty common weapons mods. In fact, be glad you can control when you get those mods (i.e.: never!).

Billy said on the stream that the new mods will only come from the MF store so that you could avoid them if you wanted to. Given the exponential card growth in the last 24 hours anything that keeps another 500 cards out of my drop table is welcome. Especially as I'm not likely to use many of them.

At least we would be able to use them then, rather than 6 months from now after purchasing your 300th Random Uncommon Mod from the MF store. I'm still trying to max my Uncommon and Rare mods now as the are basically f***ing UR's out of ordinary packs and getting them is going to be borderline impossible with all the new sh** they added. Just add them to packs and make them what they are, actually common/uncommon/rare like in ME3 were you had equal chance from a pack to get a new mod weapon or character not this BS were I'm trying to get an Uncommon mod from a pack and all my uncommons but the mods are at X and I have to buy like 50 20K packs to get one. What I'm saying is, make weapon mods just as easy to get as characters and weapons. Sh** makes absolutely no sense.
