There appears to be an easily repeatable bug in the Xbox version when selecting to customise your character.
The common human classes do not have a skin tone setting but if you go to change any colour on your toon, it automatically changes the tone of your player skin to a skin tone you have no control over.
If you wish to keep your toons faces as the Devs intended intially, then don't go into the menu until fixed.
How this got past testing I'll never know. Apologies if already mentioned in one of the many threads on today's patch.

Or you could just hit reset character customizations at the bottom....
I chose not to, I like my chocolate characters. :kiss:
