Apex Elite packs in store now? 600k

The pity timer.

Only for expert packs, which weren't meant to have an UR pity timer.

So the debate is either
6 premiums - providing ~1.5 UR's on average, and 10.5 Rares. As well as 18 consumables and boosters. (assumes 12% drop rate per slot + streakbreaker)
or
1 APEX Elite - providing ?? UR's on average, and 10-?? Rares. As well as 5 XP booster IV.

The value of ?? makes a big difference here... so far I've gotten 2 UR's in each of the 2 APEX Elite packs I've received from prestige/promotions. Not exactly a large data set. I know in other threads from the first APEX Elite pack promotion some people received more and less.

Let's assume the first slot is automatic, and the remaining per slot drop rate on the 9 "non-automatic UR slots" is 10-12%, that would amount to roughly 1.9-2.1 UR's per pack. Which makes them strictly superior from an UR viewpoint. The loss of rares and boosters is the downside, but you'd still see 4 rares for each 1 UR, which means they'd still get done... Uncommons will be an issue.
Of course the math behind UR generation in the new packs is a raw hypothesis and may be completely wrong. Go into the world and generate dataz!
