So... This is related to the 6a evolution of Snap Freeze but I guess I'm also curious about cryo beam because I don't know for sure...
But what does "armor weakening" exactly do? Is it a damage debuff to armor? Or is it like in 3 where it lessens the amount of damage armor absorbs from gun?

in Andromeda it provides an additive bonus to the debuff Multiplier for all damage sources vs the debuffed target. More precisely Damage vs snap freeze 5b,6a debuffed armor will be * (1 + 0.5 + 0.2 + 0.65). * 2.35. Powerfull stuff ...until some team-mate decides to cancel you amazing debuff via any fire effect or any detonator.. The cryo kits can be monsters vs armor but NOT in most PUG lobbies .. more info and test numbers |

Disruptor is fine.. Cryo ammo will prolong the debuff indefinitely until the target dies ... |

We laughed at Billy and Bastiaan for saying they used Cryo Ammo to get through Gold back in the day. Turns out they were right all along?!?!

Just want to say how powerful the debuff is. With my Batarian Scapper XX (I had max all rares before the update) I was able to debuff a fiend and kill it with two Flak Cannons plus a couple of shots from my Hesh (siphon) on Gold. On Platinum it was so satisfying to kill a Berserker*** with two Flaks and some shots to the face.

Just want to say how powerful the debuff is. On Platinum it was so satisfying to kill a Berserker*** with two Flaks and some shots to the face. Wonder why my buddy was borderline insta killing stuff on his Human Soldier when we were doing Plat, threw my Cryo Ammo turret out and he Turbo Charges with a Ruzad or Rozerad and I watch in amazement as Berserkers and anything else with an Armor bar dies borderline instantly. Once Progenitors shields are down and they open there mouth he was killing them with 2 shots from the Ruzad. |
