 I have been hard-coded to avoid putting smart choke or piercing on a projectile weapon. In ME:A, they seem to have addressed this by only allowing mods that will function properly to be attached to a weapon. Before the recent patch, I couldn't put the penetration mod on the Dhan (it is also possible that my memory is faulty and I didn't have one at all.) Now it appears that I can (or I acquired one recently.) Does penetration have normal effect when equipped on a projectile weapon? O.o |

AFAIK only the Turian eye power allows 'projectile' type weps to go through things. Piercing mod might just allow it to go further.

I'm still working my way through the Krogan and Asari, so I haven't tried the Turians yet. I wonder if they meant to restrict it so that only Turians could put it on a projectile weapon. |

Penetration mod has worked on Dhan since...I dunno, a long time. The downside to this is that the decision of sticking with Barrel and Melee Mod is no longer a no-brainer... :l |
