So I'm playing some nice games with MrsFlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyingKebab and GruntKitterhand. At some point we decide to make a new lobby, I try to join and my console freezes. So I had to restart, but now ME3 keeps crashing when I get to the main menu. It crashes right after it has finished checking dlc and the computer screen opens. I've tried 5 times now. Game simply stopped working. Does this sound familiar to any of you? Is there any way to fix this, besides reinstalling everything? |

Okay, well, I've been looking around for answers and it seems I could have the Retaliation DLC bug. I tried deleting and reinstalling Retaliation, but it hasn't worked. Still crashes when validating DLC. If it is that bug, there's only two options that both suck. 1. I need to download Retaliation onto a flash drive that I insert after the menu loads. It's just a limited workaround; I won't be able to be invited to games by friends as that loads the menu again. I should be able to host or quick join though. 2. I have to wait a few months until the bug is magically gone. This happens to most people as there is no real fix for this bug.  |

That's a real pain - I thought it sounded like you might have the Retaliation glitch, and as I said, docsteely is a man who has certainly had the experience recently on XB1 - he may be able to offer some support at least. I'm almost scared to switch my Xbox on today as after you left I ended up getting the wfop screen and then couldn't join MrsFlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyingKebab's lobby. Maybe it's her. MAYBE IT'S HER!!!!!! JIM!!!!! Joking aside, I hope you get sorted soon.  |

Well, that's the thing. I still play on 360. I read somewhere a pretty detailed description of what I should do. I'll just give it a try. Then your only option is indeed the USB flash drive. At least it's manageable. It's working! I just pugged a silver! I simply moved the Retaliation dlc from my HD to my flash drive. Now, when it loads the menu and checks the dlc, it finishes without freezing. Then I insert the flash drive, it checks for DLC again, and then I can select 'Multiplayer' and play. I'm amazed that it's actually working, really! I just need to host when playing with friends. (Or do what you said, search for specific settings and hope you land in the right lobby) At least I can play!!!!! This calls for BEER to CELEBRATE!  |
