"Oh, what's that you say? that hacking is too difficult? oh well I guess we're going to listen and change it ba-"
First objective (wave 2) - Devices Second objective (wave 4) - Hack Third objective (wave 6) - Hack
Even with an Infiltrator and a Salarian Operator boosting and throwing Invasion all around, we couldn't make it. Two to three destroyers would stand on the point and spam the AoE damage. Cobras didn't do shit, and killing one would just spawn another one, and mostly the rushing Hydra, which would leave us with another high health enemy to take down. Even leaving and coming back did not help, so we ended with a timeout.
And yes, we all had boosters at IV.

Strangely enough, the platinum APEX missions do not seem to have set objectives, unlike all other tiers. So yeah, fight the RNG!

This is what bothers me the most,
you had what 3 minutes to formulate a plan and win the wave. You also say "Even leaving and coming back did not help," your going to have to be REALLY specific on how you and I assume 3 other people managed to make the built in "enemy chase you down" program of the game change.
Unless you mean 1-3 of you left, or all of you left for like 3 seconds, then all came back. Idk... but lets get straight to the point.
Hack is a rotation now, so everytime you see hack, think rotate. EVERYONE GET THE FUDGE OUT THE CIRCLE and go to the furthest point from it. Let 1 individual work the hack circle. If that individual draws to much aggro, they LEAVE the hack circle, shooting as much enemies as they can on the way out. Use "teamwork" and the person with the LEAST aggro then goes into the circle ASAP while not shooting anything on the way. 3 people in close prox diverting enemies, 1 person in hack at all times.
If there are beefy enemies in the circle, (you should be dropping dogs and redhealths ONLY! all other enemies get pulled away and "stalled") GET OUT THE CIRCLE... do not kill or fight them in a stalled hack, GET THE FUDGE OUT and pull them toward the group of 3 that should be turning to 2 because someone else is headed back toward the circle.
I swear people make it seem like controlling enemies that has been doing the same dam thing since the game came out and since BRONZE is hard. Like really what in the dam game changed enemy AI wise from bronze to platinum that i'm missing? Sharpshooters bolt to a hiding spot then snipe you from afar, berserkers flak cannon you and get mad at low health, destined fart smoke, cloak then shoot with their shotguns. ITS ALL THE SAME DAM SHYT.....
And I know shooting enemies doesn't do much... but if someone is focused on that, I think they missed the point.

Not much you can do when a boss or a couple Beserkers setup camp in the fucking hack whilst the other 3 are drawing aggro. The boss camping shit in uploads and hacks has been going since day 1. So, formulate a plan for the poor bastard who is sitting in hack by their lonesome. Nuke? Fuck that, takes what, 10% of shield off new Destroyer type Remnant asshole. And I say this as a guy who likes the new setup, but hack is a bitch.

↑↑↑This, you get a wave 4 or 6 Hack you might as well go afk or wipe because its borderline impossible. It wouldn't be so bad if Cobra's actually OHK sh** like they should, or if they didn't change it so the f***ing hack stops the second anything walks into the circle. Oh on a side note, not more than 15 minutes ago I accidently cracked an Observer on Platinum square in the mouth with a Cobra I was trying to hit a Destroyer with. It didn't even take half its f***ing shields down.... My Human Engi's Overloads are stronger than something that is meant to be a panic get out of jail free card. Hacks in one small change went from being the easiest objective to being so hard on the higher difficulties that you may as well just wipe when they come up.

It was my first game and... it somehow ended in full extraction.
I will be honest.. and I got totally carried.
Thanks for the team.. because I burned my medi-gels way too early.
The worst part is weird charge glitch.. where my Krogan Vanguard keep ending up somewhere that has nothing to do with target I charged to.

It is not completely impossible but requires some coordination and understanding of AI. I just played in a pug who completed more or less normally hack on wave 6 of the mission on central Magma spot, the one outdoors. There were two infiltrators, turian solder and me as human sentinel. First, all went to the circle for about 20 seconds. Then, the infiltrators left cloaked and we did our best to hold the circle while they were on cool down. Then, we rotated, they came back with another round of cloak and we left. We then tried to move as much as possible without getting too close to the circle or in between the spawns (LZ and down in the valley) and the circle. And the infiltrators kept cloaking as much as they could without shooting anything except dogfishes. It worked quite well, both me and tsol died multiple times, used up all gels and ops packs, but the infiltrators returned and revived us. It was a close call time-vise, probably something around 30 seconds left, so a single infiltrator might be unable to pull it off safely. Wave 2 hack in the same game went relatively smoothly indoors, there was enough dps to handle that.
Now, that was highly qualified pug with two people at 25K apex, one at 20K, and scrubby me with my miserable 13K and even more miserable hurricane I and equalizer VII.
Before that, there was a very dramatic wipe on wave 6 hack with another team without infiltrators but with two sentinels. It was inside in the storage room across the LZ. I put my barricades but the other sentinel panicked and either could not get there or just ran out of thermal clips, IDK what happened but at about 3/4 on the way, that doorway got breached and lol-destroyers got us all.
