Since it is free once you unlocked it, there is no reason not to use it. The new weapons prime using the shotgun pellet formula (except for the Dhan, apparently because plain Dhan is bugged and uses that pellet formula for priming), which means you should avoid them for priming unless you are using a shotgun with pellets (or the Dhan). |
