I'm starting to like Sera aswell because of all the banter she has with the other members. Is it an elf thing to be playful in the Dragon Age universe? Yes, as Fenris for example. And Solas. *Dies laughing* You can be this hilarious in two languages. Impressed

He is. Routed for him to win over Celine. Bit disappointed in how he was presented in DAI. Yes he didn't feel as flashed out as Celene, Briala and their relationship Same here I red TME before DAI so I loved Gaspard going into DAI and would not reconcile Briala and Celine, oh Celine is so EVIL, those 2 should never be together!

Okie doke.
I confess, I've never collected Shards in all of my playthroughs (I've lost count), as I never saw the point in collecting them. I can't stop playing as a Dalish mage and I can't stop romancing Cullen. Vivienne is my favourite companion. She makes me laugh. There I said it.

Eh if you play with Bull in your party or play as a Qunari yourself, the best Vitaar comes from the last door, but that's about the only reason to collect them. I don't see all the fuss, they're not as bad as herb/ore collecting to build Skyhold.

A personal confession: I like tinting Solas' armor with Lambswool. Because I can't resist making him a wolf in sheep's clothing. Same here, I've even spent hours in the Hinterlands grinding lambswool just so I can have extra material to tint Solas' outfits later on. (Cheaper than buying materials from the Black Emporium and gives you more XP) ---- My confessions; I like to name Cole's daggers "Rhys" and "Evangeline". I headcanon that after meeting Varric and gleaning the story behind Bianca's name, Cole was inspired to do the same as a way to remember his friends from Asunder (even if they've since forgotten him). Makes the war-table mission to contact them far more heartwarming, when he discovers that they still do remember him after all. I like to tint Blackwall's armour and shield with Obsidian, rather than Silverite that's usually associated with Grey Wardens. I chose this colour scheme for him because I like how it plays upon his name, making him appear to be a figurative "Black Wall" standing between his friends and enemies on the battlefield. It also hearkens back to the medieval stock character of the "Black Knight", foreshadowing later revelations about his true identity.

I mentioned it in another thread, but I think it'll fit here nicely.
I was creeped out by Merrill in my first DA2 pt, after her recruitment quest. I ended up not taking her with me and not hearing/seeing her way cuter side in banter. In the end I ended up in hardcore rivalry, because I was getting rivalry points like cookies during her personal quests. Now I really like her and most (if not all) of my Hawkes treat her like cute, little sister with "peculiar hobbies", but my beginnings with her were rough.

Each Dragon Age game, I play at least one time trying to bang as many people as possible. I even hardened Leliana for this nefarious purpose. My Cousland slept with Iona, tried to sleep with the male noble but he turned down an awesome threesome chance the night before an attack. The Dwarf in Redcliffe also turned her down. Teagan was "too busy", Cammen was deflowered ahem trained. Then it was Leliana, Zevran, and Alistair with a Leliana/Zevran/Isabella threesome in there somewhere and a choice selection of the best lads and ladies the Pearl had to offer. I also head cannoned that every persuade option was dripping with seduction. She married Alistiar at the end and kept Zevran as a side piece. I have a DA2 PT on hold that I have planned- Fenris, Anders, Merril, Isabella for maximum companion commentary about Hawke's last lover by their new lover. Also, all of the Working Ladies. I have one planned for DAI: Iron Bull, to Cass, to Dorian, to Josephine. And he'll sleep with the Judge. It can be done. I will prove it. And I give advice to people about how to do it themselves if they want to RP their own Soap Opera against Bioware's best programming to stop them. (thinking of DAI on this last one.) I get supreme enjoyment from this, and some of my best RPing is had from these romantic drama events.

Anyone else think Cassandra is pretty demanding? You have to do so many missions for her and then you have to go to different cities to get flowers and candles.

The Inquisitor comes up with some interesting uses for his/her time:
"Corypheus can wait, I'm going to Val Royeaux to buy a present for my girlfriend/take Cole out to lunch"

Im going back to Josephine. I'd like to think the Quiz also thought it cringe but was putting on a good show of being silly to show Cass they had a soft silly side of themselves. British VA version had me swooning at myself a bit, to be honest. Since I'm female, I put myself in Cass's shoes.

British VA version had me swooning at myself a bit, to be honest. Since I'm female, I put myself in Cass's shoes. Maybe I'm just not enough of a romantic at heart, but I found that scene a little too...something. Simple, maybe? Like, Cass describes what she thinks would be a romantic gesture, and then the Inquisitor just gives it to her exactly verbatim...I get the idea behind wanting to give one's love what they want, but there was a definite lack of spontaneity, I guess, with that. It felt less like a "romantic gesture" and more like going to the grocery store with a list of items to pick out? If that makes any sense. Though as I said, maybe the real problem is that I'm a just wet blanket.
