It sure feels like I'm getting ripped off. They've gone back to the gun and gun modifier wells and quadruple dipped. S variant, Siphon, Concussive, Bulwark. Then there are the new gun mods. There are now 4x as many as before. Have your pick between the pistol light melee and pistol heavy melee since the regular pistol melee wasn't enough. The veteran status... ok, I accept those, but these new guns and gun mods with no new animation. Lazy ass developers.
If they had unloaded a bunch of great new guns that they labored over to give us fresh new animation, I'd be happy. Instead, they gave us RGB variants of the guns because they remember how much money they made off of ME3 SP's RGB ending.

I would have been happy if they actually made some new enemy variants for Platinum as well. Instead we mainly got Purple-named version of existing enemies, which more shield and HP. The Progenitor is the closest to something actually new, but come on.

You've never really been ripped off, have you? I mean really ripped off, like having a car stolen, or your house burglarized, or been robbed at gun point.
I have, to all those things. So no, I don't feel ripped off by Bioware adding in recolored guns. I find it annoying and somewhat pitiful that what was once a great game company would lower themselves to that.
If anyone is being ripped off, it's Bioware's reputation...at least what little is left of it at this point.

It would be kind of nice, I admit, if they could work in the "jumping into the shuttle" animations after extraction.
It looks like they designed for them to be there - we have the shuttles arriving and everything - but I guess with all the Frostbite induced glitches (which were there back in 2013 for other frostbite games) they did not have time to get them in.
Besides, someone would complain, I am sure. Someone always complains.

I've given up the quest of double full manifest. I only play with friends anyway, and as long as other friends play, I'll play.

I don't really mind. It at least makes it perfectly clear that I'll never be able to max my manifest now. I just play for fun and hope for alternate versions of useful guns in the RNG-store...
I don't support the way the new mods are only obtainable with MFs. They're just too expensive for the rate we get MFs.

God-fucking-damn, Bioware .... is this cheap stuff everything you're able to do? All the more so, that there are lots of guns, which were already made in ME3 and not included to ME:A weapon pool (along with powers and characters, BTW).
Mere porting of all that to ME:A would be way more appreciated, than this, really.

And frankly I really don't care as I already have 3 mods on most weapons that I want to use.

All I know is I'll never be able to play the duelist and kineticist to their full potential because lol character card unlocks for points and diluted RNG pool made it even more unlikely.

Well the reason they did this is also because of the increased pay out of Platinum.

If anyone is being ripped off, it's Bioware's reputation...at least what little is left of it at this point. While I'm unhappy about the diluted pool and the fact that I'll never get the Black Widow or Soned since 1.09, I would have to agree with this. If certain rumor is to be believed, the team that's supporting the MP is very small compared to the ME3MP team, and it probably doesn't have the resources to produce new graphics, animation, plugins to the engine, etc., etc. But under the pressure of the gamers and mostly importantly probably the company's higher-ups that they have to keep the game going for x number of months until Anthem, so the team did what they could with what they had. I'm not mad at them anymore, I'm really sad. Like 3rdpig said, Bioware was once known as an innovative game developer and we fell in love with their games since Baldur's Gate or SWKOTOR or Mass Effect series. I think our collective frustration with the MEAMP stems from our love for its predecessor, MP3MP, and from our hope that this game would get better. It's indeed sad for both Bioware and its fans.

Well the reason they did this is also because of the increased pay out of Platinum. this makes so much sense. The one time they actually get the credit payout right is the same time they decide inflate the number of cards.

Well the reason they did this is also because of the increased pay out of Platinum. For the vast majority of players the payout rate will be the essentially the same or less. It's only marginally better than gold if you're on a good team. 55000 credits for 11 minutes on Gold, 125000 for 17 minutes on plat.

None of those options applies to how I feel..
I dont want a maxed manifest, im not a completionist and accepted a long time ago with the hours I play that I can never own everything I want. So my priority is an abundant supply of fun stuff to unlock. This is also why I played silver for a long time, despite being comfortable on gold - some classes are just more fun when their powers actually affect the enemies - its only the recent patches that have made Gold "fun viable" in my eyes.
For this reason im wary of platinum - im sure I could do it, but I would bore quickly.
I like the new variants, and I suppose the fact they dont dilute the pool till you already have a weapon at X is pretty good too. The character cards for skill points is annoying though - for someone like me who may never get all the character cards it sucks that my characters cannot use powers as effectively. If they stuck to aesthetics and passive bonuses I wouldnt mind.
I would have preferred new weapons entirely, or mods which affected weapons similarly, but this said I prefer more content to none at all, which was a possibility.
I look forward to anthem, and an optimistic because its from a better studio - we have been screwed for a decade by companies and DLC/pre-order/microtransaction bullshit, so while im not complacent I also expect it regardless of it being EA or not.
I have more positives than negatives for this update personally, but understand others frustrations.

I have more positives than negatives for this update personally, but understand others frustrations. Optimism is all good, but the companies need to be sent a message with Anthem. Don't pre-order. Don't get it on full price actually. Unless you're returning it the next day for an even better message. Games get released in Alpha stage because we buy them. Sure we moan and complain, but in the end our wallets speak louder. If we as community stop buying unfinished products, quality will improve.
