It seems I'm out of the loop. Didn't know about Khet or any leak. Also, what's this "Helios/Helius Cluster" everyone is talking about? Is it supposed to be a part of Andromeda?

Yes...Helios Cluster is supposed to be the place were ME:Andromeda takes action. It's a part from Andromeda...exactly like in MW,examples:Exodus Cluster,Local Cluster, etc. Maybe in the next sequels,we will visit other cluster from Andromeda.

Both the Khet and Helius Cluster are from the Reddit leak I believe. The Khet are the presumed bad guys of MEA. I hesitate to say antagonist because that role is usually filled by one individual but it very well could be a Khet individual that fills the role. As Antibaar said the Helius cluster is probably going to be similar to the clusters we found in the Milky Way in the original three games. My guess is it will be much bigger than than any of the clusters we encountered in the ME Trilogy though. The reddit leak says " The next Mass Effect game takes place in the Helius Cluster (a cluster of 100s of solar systems in the Andromeda Galaxy)………"

In my opinion...the Remanants are ancient and very advanced race, synthetic and organic...and the Khet,a species less advanced, but agressive with another races who want to steal remnant technology.

The reddit leak says " The next Mass Effect game takes place in the Helius Cluster (a cluster of 100s of solar systems in the Andromeda Galaxy)………" Ah, thanks both for the info. That's more or less what I thought, and honestly I'm a bit disappointed about it, just because I was expecting we'd traverse the entire galaxy like we did in the Milky way. Although, I probably shouldn't be disappointed since less than 1% of the Milky Way was actually explored, so we didn't need to across the galaxy anyway, but still. This also makes sense if there will not be any mass relays. It's been so long I forgot about the system clusters in ME, so my brain was thinking of galaxy clusters instead, hence my confusion I wonder what they'll do with the khet. Will they be like the Prothean Empire and we'll be rescuing other species from their oppression? Will they end up being defenders, while we're the invaders? Or will they be more enigmatic like the Reapers?

My gut says the Remnants are actually a race from MW,maybe protheans. About khet...I believe,in this story we are the bad guys, why?simple:we are aliens to them...we come from MW to make a home for humanity. To me seems very obvious for khet to be dangerous, they may just defend thereselfs from us(the invaders from another galaxy). And another thing...I believe,in Andromeda, there will be more advanced races(2-3),and I think that we will make them allies or enemies depending on our choices. For example:side with alien x,and you will have some benefits(weapons, tech, etc),or alien y.

Their behaviour is taken unkindly by the local indigenous races and us making allies of them is smart politics. The Remnants, in their prime, achieved a high level of technology of which both the Khet and Ryder must get to gain the leverage they need to beat the other. I view the Remnants as the MW's Protheans.

There's also this, that ressembles the beam from Citadel and Crucible: That reminds me a lot of the Drakk Homeworld in Unreal 2 as well.

In the E3 2015 interview when they announced MEA officially, Mac Walters talked about how future games will have us expand further and further into Andromeda.& It seems I'm out of the loop. Didn't know about Khet or any leak. Also, what's this "Helios/Helius Cluster" everyone is talking about? Is it supposed to be a part of Andromeda? The reddit leak says " The next Mass Effect game takes place in the Helius Cluster (a cluster of 100s of solar systems in the Andromeda Galaxy)………" I don't think so, since clusters can only be so big before being classified as something else. The clusters we went to in the Shepard Trilogy had hundreds of stars as we can see. It's just we only visit a few of them. This time it sounds like we'll visit every single one or at least a lot more. Also, as an astronomy lover the wording in the leak bugs me. There is no such thing as 100s of solar systems. There is only one solar system, the star system of the star Sol aka our Sun.

Arguable, since many terms make use of the word "solar" with reference to stellar events (such as flares) but without reference to Sol, as do "lunar" terms.

I'm just saying the grammatically correct terminology for syatems other than our own is star system or stellar system. Usually we just use the name of the star, like say the Alpha Centauri System.
