Chalk this one up to another quality Bioware product.... but Siphon guns do not improve in any way with more cards. Whether you have a Siphon 1 gun or a Siphon 10 gun, there is absolutely no difference.
Bulwark guns improve each stat by +1 for every card you get. Concussive guns improve area damage with more cards (radius remains 7.5 meters)
But Siphon guns have no improvements. More cards don't add more damage, so the stats will remain at 3% & 4.5% for damage and kills.
So until Bioware buffs/fixes Siphon guns, that's 459 useless cards you will receive in the store.

You should let bioware know you've come up with another cheap least rewarding idea to get people to empty their bank. Or did you forget that is the #1 goal of each and every multiplayer supporting videogame for the past what 5 years?

haven't tested them yet but there is still a tiny chance for hidden stats .. We'll know for sure if we manage to find out what they're supposed to do in the first place ..

Lol wow, I wish I could say I'm surprised but with all the BS and poor implementation of there latest patch I'm not. Also what a joke Bulwark is, only +1 per rank??? So at X you need to be standing near all three of your mates for a measly 20% Damage Mitigation, 10% if your on a class that can breach 100 DR. They need to rework so much sh** at this point its not even funny.

What is the base Bulwark DR? Pretty sure Bioware just cares about Anthem, this game is an afterthought.

bsn.boards.net/post/791949/threadworks as advertised 3% of inflicted weapon damage ( + 4.5% temporary bonus per weapon kill up to 3 times for 7 seconds) sadly at level 2 it seems to work exactly the same ..

We need to be careful to distinguish between
U.I. bugs (like the wrong number shown on the screen)
mechanics bugs (like the wrong amount of health being siphoned)
Of course it is possible both are bugged, but you get the point.

I would also respectfully add making generalized claims based on discrete observations. Just because something works under x, y, z circumstances does not mean it will work the same in other circumstances. Seems to me there would be a lot less "drama" if we acknowledge the limitations of valued contributions, one's own or others.

I noticed that with my Ruzad Siphon III.
...Just like others mentioned above...
I don`t even care anymore. It`s not even a real problem compare to other shits happening right now.
Another BW quality product. Not surprising.

I will hold out hope that this is unintentional (the alternative would be very depressing.) Which begs the question as to what the scaling bonus would have been. It seems like 3 and 4.5 per level would get out of hand by the time it was Rank X.

They can slow bump the numbers by a quarter... not a full percent. 3 3.25 3.5 3.75 4 4.25 etc Bulwark damage resistance starts at 16 or 17... and goes up a notch with each gun, so 16, 17, 18, 19 etc. But without a bump, it maintains the same stat from level 1 through 10.

Why couldn't they just make the variant weapons a single rank unlock, anyway. Would have had roughly 3409304930x less backlash that way.

I converted the excel file, and can confirm it's true. Siphon guns refer to indexes: - Index 20: streak duration - Index 21: heal amount - Index 22: heal boost - Index 23: max streak The rank reference is row 0+(rank-1), as you can see all ranks have the same values docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/180W4tgA4k5GsDZuKeHnpbxL6hTsFr01ckEIGM_xLEfY/edit?usp=sharingand comparing a Rank X vampire gun to Rank I, there are no differences in terms of damage, recoil, accuracy, etc. the reason why I looked into this is I couldn't believe biower would make such a dumb mistake, but they did. what a waste of my time.

Honestly until Peddro and Lenny et al. test stuff I just ignore everything else. People reporting their experiences when they don't match expectations from the UI is usually helpful, because it gives us things to test. But people thinking that code in their copy of the game is special is decidedly not helpful.
