I've done one NG+. I went from an Insanity play through to NG+Insanity, maxed all of the abilities, finished the game and started a new character. It isn't something I'll probably do again. As for my Strike Teams, I use 4 of them, get them to 20 and equip them with the N7 armor. Four teams has been all I needed to keep up with all of the strikes so far. Surely Exceptional Human Intelligence (+20) is the best one if you're looking for a generic effectiveness boost? As far as I can see N7 armour only gives you +10. Personally I like to give each of my teams one of the +40 specialist boosts like Empowered Shields IV or Quick Response Vehicle IV. With each team having a different specialty you can often get Gold quests into the 80% range. Particularly if you line the boost up with a trait the team already has. Of course this tactic works better the more teams you have. With only 1 or 2 at level 20 the generic boost would be better.

You're right, it does, but I haven't really run into a mission that required more than a 10% boost. Maybe when/if they start adding Platinum missions to the list it'll make sense to upgrade. I just haven't had a reason to yet.

I never equip my strike teams with anything, mostly because I forget it's even an option. Heck, I don't remember to collect rewards half the time either.
