It sucks that we have to 'exit multiplayer' then exit the game in the next menu. It just adds another pointless loading screen.

I use Alt+F4 to close the game out after save. Best way. Bioware would fuck up a exit to desktop button anyway. It would probably BSOD or launch you into SP. ME3MP had the same issue. |

What bothers me - from the very beginning, BTW - is why I exit the MP to the welcome screen instead of normal main menu?

Apperently they have integreated that function into the game - it just happens at random for certain people and they call it "Crash To Desktop"  On a more serious note though: I agree! If you want to quit the game properly instead of closing it with Alt+F4 you have to endure quite a lot of loading to quit MP, then press Space again to start the menu, then finally quit. |

Even if BioWare had added an "exit game" menu option, it wouldn't do anything. Not that I could tell you why, but all consoles have to do the equivalent of "Alt-F4" (in our case it's using the "joystick menu button" to call up the "OS Menu" and use that to exit the game.) The game then has to be manually quit from the main OS menu after selecting it, as it is still running in the background. |

I mean, I know that we could just ALT & F4, but I think we should be able to exit the game in a proper way without the detour to exit to the main menu.  |

I use Alt+F4 to close the game out after save. I do also. But all too often when I do this, the game changes its video resolution on me when I next start it up. (Which, perhaps, relates to why they have not given us the option to exit directly from multiplayer? They could not figure out how to debug that part of the engine?) |
