hey guys sorry if this has been mentioned before but i feel like my concussive equalizer doesnt prime as well as my regular one. i noticed this on gold with my human engineer and on my last platinum game (aasari sentinel) where i rarely managed to prime an enemy with my disruptor ammo. i have played her with my regular equalizer on platinum vs the same enemies and with disruptor ammo as well and i always primed really fast.
maybe i am just imagining this but something didnt feel right
cheers dragaaan

Other concussive weapons prime fine but this is the second time I've heard someone have a problem with Conc Equalizer. It should prime in 50 shots just like the busted Siphon weapons.

I tested this out just now with rozerad I siphon, they DO prime. Seems to take almost double the ammo with specialty weapons vs normal ones though. Thing is on gold the enemy dies before they are primed, and on platinum, your dead before they are primed...so kinda defeats the whole point.

ok seems i am not going crazy (yay) i understand that if they all primed the same there would no longer be any reason to use the "regular" weapons
thanks guys

Some weapon variants are using the shotgun modifier on ammo. rof/5, instead of rof/25, max rof 250, min 50
This means it takes 5 time more shots to prime enemies. 10 - 50 instead of 2 - 10

Tested the Siphon variants of a few guns on Gold, the PAW and Shadow definitely prime ammo effects (tested with Incendiary), I'd say the prime chance is even on par with their vanilla counterparts, but the Hurricane never primed once (tested with Disruptor), looks like some weapons got special treatment from Biower.
