So with the strong and stable patch 1.09 there's a known issue with XIV being coded as XV (https://www.reddit.com/r/MECoOp/comments/6lvrom/is_anyone_receiving_the_same_items_repeatedly_in/).

That makes sense that you'd get a visual bug where you see XV twice. However, in the new biower spirit of doubling down on bullshit, I got the krogard XV 4 times in a row. Exited and returned, and got krogard XV again. Next pack, krogard XVI, and subsequently he's been ranking normally.

Then I got asari sentinel XV 4 times in a row.

I don't know if it's a visual bug and actually now they have multiple numbers all coded as XV, so in actual fact ranks XI - XV of my krogard all looked like XV, because I wasn't really paying attention before.

Anyone else seeing this, and if so, is it just another visual bug due to strong and stable coding? Is it known (khaleesi)?

FWIW, I've decided to grind up Basics/Commons and then Advanced/Uncommons -- even though this is objectively not the most efficient way.

I always record my pack-opening so eventually I have video proof of what happens.

At least for me on XB1.

I'm confused. Did you receive Kroguard cards XI, XII, and XIII or did it go to straight to XV after X? Because if you received cards XI-XIII you've received 12 Kroguard cards. What tier is your veteran status right now? If you think your Kroguard Rank is 19, then you should be Tier 9.

That's my issue, I wasn't really looking until I saw I got XV twice in a row. And then again and again. So it could just be a visual bug, just a different one from what has already been reported.

I think people are saying that they're getting even more than 2 XV cards on a single class. Of course, no proof yet.

For the record, right now I have 5 different classes showing rank XV that have Tier 4 Veteran Bonus.

this doesn't prove anything we don't already know, that you can get XV cards that should actually be XIV. But it shows that it can happen on a variety of kits.

ed: actually I can't verify for certain that I didn't get an XV card that just didn't upgrade me from Vet 4. (i.e., I did get an XIV card, but then got a fake XV card that did nothing). Not saying that happened, but it's possible.

If I ever play another game to get a box I'll record video in case I do get another true duplicate XV.

Of course, when you record the video, you'll not get the bug because that's how the universe works.

Since I've been tracking it it's happened to literally every character. Rank XIV is always called XV on the card, but is correctly rank 4 Veteran. And every time I've gotten the second XV card the update to Rank 5 Veteran. And every card for them after that is a Rank XVI with Veteran 6.

So the telltale way to tell is actually looking at the Veteran status? Good to know

And, noticed both of my Soldiers were XV, yet Veteran 4. So, I wasn't paying close enough attention. Good catch
