My favorite character types are the engineers so far (krogan especially), but I'm trying to diversify my character lineup. Right now I play my krogan engi as a close range fighter with a shotgun and the flame turret, and I have an angaran insurgent set up for longer range with a sniper rifle and cryo turret.
Looking for some opinions on these characters:
Turian soldier and Turian havoc trooper - which is better at what? I like the idea of an aerial trooper and I like the female Turian look, but would the soldier be more effective? Whichever one I pick will probably use either a raptor or some kind of assault rifle. The soldier is supposed to be tough and tanky but he seems squishy even with fortify.
Which stealth class works best? I have a Turian agent but also looking at the angaran avenger or salarian infiltrator.
How does the krogan vanguard match up to other vanguard/melee classes?
Any opinions on the salarian architect vs the upcoming human artifice as a remnant vi user?

turian soldier is better to cncentrate on turbocharge, use zoned or any other automatic poerful assault rifle
havoc use assault rifle, and grenade, very powerful
salarian architekt i use max vi and misilie vi, and incinaration, so the vi shoots missiles and detonates incinerated enemies

Havoc Trooper has the benefit of Flak Cannon which is way better than Frag Grenades. Turian Soldier has the benefit of not needing to be in the air (and thus open to fire) to use all his passive tree abilities. I prefer the Soldier by quite a bit, but he's best played in cover; with Fortify and cover passives you are ridiculously tanky. If I want to Flak stuff to death I play the Merc. Havoc Trooper is great in gold though, haven't brought her into platinum yet. Or a simpler way to look at it - TSol as sniping platform, HT as an aerial turret with Flak Cannon and some ridiculous full auto weapon. If you want to run-and-gun you are honestly better off picking an Infiltrator as Tactical Cloak combined with a good pistol or shotgun lets you navigate the map and kill much more effectively.

1. Human Vanguard - both biotic combo and weapon+melee builds. 2. Engineers - expecially Krogan one (like fiery explosions, damn it!). 3. Human Soldiers - also both TC and TC-less (aka max power cells) builds. 4. Human Adept - singularity+shockwave build. 5. Krogan Vanguard.

Vanguards and Adepts. I like high-risk, high-reward characters. Least favorite is anything stuck in a hide-y-hole...static characters.

Human sentinel (I know I'm gonna trigger someone with this one). High damage resistance, high weapon damage bonus, Barricade for protection, priming, stunning and combo detonating enemies. Also, Energy drain for keeping your shield up. I see no weaknesses.
Turian soldier. Has high survivability with Fortify, big health and shield and can wreck strong enemies with Turbocharge. Performs well in platinum.
The Asari sentinel is nice too. She has high combo damage and her powers recharge fast. Plus, she has Tech armor. With a high of rate of fire weapon and Ammo boosters you can detonate mobs like crazy. Can't beat the HSent, though.

None?
All the kits feel a bit half-baked to me, though that probably has to do with the more general shortcomings of the game. Maybe the Havoc since she has a nice distinctive playstyle?
Platinum has also gummed up my perception of the kits. There are currently a bunch of kits that work great on Gold but were not designed for the boss spam in Plat. For me at least, that effects my opinion of their utility and performance. Might change in a few months when I get more swag, assuming I'm still playing.

With the HSol on plat, would you go all the way to armor damage on frag or 4/4 with concussive?

When I played ME3MP... I played Engineer characters the most. I played Human engineer, Quarian Engineer none stop and Mathematician challenge was the one I completed the most times naturally.
In MEAMP... I find myself mostly in love with Vanguard class. ...because they are just so easy to play for a player like me who is annoyed by erratic enemy movement.
For Platinum... I will stick to Infiltrator & sticky grenade mostly..
Except Krogan Merc... Flak Cannon & toughness own.. lol New Batarian character might surpass him though.
