I wish the exploding singularity would detonate. My shockwave doesn't reach far enough. Thx to the fucking XP grind.

Pull - radius/expose/antishield Singularity- radius/recharge/explode Shockwave- 1 Offensive biotics- efficiency/combos/biotic expert Barrier- unyielding/biotic link/saving barrier
Roll with your high rof weapon of choice (or not, your choice). Singularity for massive multi-detonations from shockwave. Might need to get close, so be careful. Remember shockwave goes through walls.
Anti-shield pull is a must imo. The radius evo allows you to suspend 2 adhi in one cast. Also good for staggering shielded mooks... Or set them up for det if you finish their shield with it. Also has a short recharge so you're not throwing your singularity at everything. Only use singularity in chokepoints or on elites.
Commando or biotic gear. Stay nimble, saving barrier is essential but it won't save your life if you're pinned down or surrounded.

Cryo ammo doesn't debuff. It debuffs armor my dude, which is plentiful in plat. On top of that, it slows large targets down so the conga line isn't so bad.

It debuffs armor my dude, which is plentiful in plat. No it doesn't. Sure seems like it. Maybe it's my imagination... and the description that says increased damage to armor. Maybe it's just weapon damage, I dunno. Would like some verification tho for future reference.

I think srkm00b did a lot of cryo ammo tests while testing ET and cryo beam 6a explosion chain .. Not a lot of room left for surprises .. Cryo Ammo doesn't debuff / reduce Armor DR in any way.

Cryo Ammo doesn't debuff / reduce Armor DR in any way. Well, my mistake then. I assumed it worked like the cryo powers and debuffed armor. So all it does is slow/prime? That's stupid, but I'm not surprised.

It does feel like it, so much so that I'm tempted to do a quick and dirty test with stickies. I trust the research guys tho.

Ponytail in platinum, lol If anybody thinks the human adept isn't platinum viable, here's a little evidence to the contrary. I'm not even that good at this game, and this was my first night playing since 1.07. Granted it was a 3 man team for most of the match and score is overrated... but it's noteworthy regardless. I was using the Ghost AR

Pull - radius/expose/antishield Singularity- radius/recharge/explode Shockwave- 1 Offensive biotics- efficiency/combos/biotic expert Barrier- unyielding/biotic link/saving barrier Roll with your high rof weapon of choice (or not, your choice). - why is anti shield a must? pull doesn't work on a shielded enemy even if it completely strips it. you're putting pull on cooldown in exchange for a slight stagger (which they recover from immediately), and you're left with an enemy with full health and immune to stagger. - wouldn't singularity expansion be more useful in plat due to large, bullet spongey groups of armor and shields? the detonation deals 700 base, with full rank 4 biotic consumables (obviously a waste) it will max out at like 1400 damage (still less than frag grenade). it's not even enough to kill an adhi on platinum. - why combo damage on offensive biotics? the only way you can detonate combos is through shockwave, which suffers a 50% damage penalty, and also deals wet noodle damage because it's left at 1 point. plus you have no way of debuffing armor or shields without exposure. - why would you use biotic expert if your only reliable damaging biotic ability (shockwave) is left at 1 point? for singularity explosion? you would forego an almost constant 15% extra gun damage for 40% more damage on an unreliable aoe (due to placement) that deals pitiful damage against anything on plat? plus the only way to benefit from it is if you cancel your singularity early within 3 seconds of casting it? in summary, you're giving some pretty bad build advice.

I think expose instead of combo damage might be the superior option, especially with the introduction of veteran bonuses .. 1.4 * 1.2 - (1+ 0.5 + 0.4) = -0.22 . A bit less combo damage and range - but the 0.2 weapon damage squad wide debuff will go a long way on platinum. Also it will boost shockwave impact damage and singularity DOT damage (less relevant), shield pull if you feel like pulling the shields from under the enemies that wander inside your singularity and you melee damage should you ever feel the need to punch things in singularity (pull melee would do an even better job at that) ...
Pull antishield won't lift but does knock down when stripping shields ..

O.O No, just that time when some clown was comparing Weapon training with Turbocharge so he can prove a point that no one was arguing against. I repeat: That's not a chapter you want to cite in support of your understanding of the game. The claim that HS does the most weapon damage was absurd, and defending it over and over again was beyond silly. Bringing it up again now is achieving the exact opposite of whatever it is you think it's accomplishing.

This isn't quite true. If you strip the last bit of shields from a health enemy (that isn't an observer), it will fall on its face and be immobilized for the normal length of time that it would have been lifted. It will also be primed for an explosion, but for some reason that explosion doesn't deal full damage to that enemy unless you put a single bullet into it first. *shrugs*
