Okay, so I'm on Cronos Station right now and Shepard has just discovered that TIM retrieved the proto-human Reaper from the remains of the Collector Base. If TIM has been sitting around this thing for the last 6 months, isn't it a likely source of his indoctrination? It would explain why his goals were so different from ME2 to ME3. In one instance, he was ruthless enough to do terrible things for the overall advancement of humanity. Later, he simply killed for no real reason (indoctrination). Has this ever been discussed before, maybe in the depths of the old BSN boards?
Previously, I assumed TIM was indoctrinated for much longer but this idea just popped into my head. Thoughts?

TIM has been in contact with reaper tech since the Evolution comic (which takes place sometime in the 2160s or 70s IIRC. So I'd say, there is a good chance that he's been compromised long ago. However, I do agree that it's likely that sitting around a reaper corpse for 6 months ramped things up (or maybe the reapers did actively as they needed TIM to do different things during the war in ME3). Definitely, TIM has gone from bad to worse between ME2 and 3, that's for sure.

Im not sure why he could create the control tech in Horizon. The reapers attacked that lab for some reason. why do they turn agaisnt TIM if he is loyal (indoctrinated)??
TIM shows more metallic at the end of the game because he implanted reaper tech for himself (thats why he is able to control Shep and Anderson during final talk).Im not complete sure if TIM was total indoctrinated by reapers it seems more like he is looking the way to be a reaper.
I know then you discover he was indoctrinated but Horizon events confuses me.

Yeah, the timing was weird. The only thing I can figure is that plans were in motion and that Henry Lawson maybe wasn't indoctrinated, or at least not to the extent TIM and Kai Leng were. I'd say TIM was still fighting the indoctrination enough to carry forth his plans, even as he moved against the only person who was a threat to the Reapers.

Im not complete sure if TIM was total indoctrinated by reapers it seems more like he is looking the way to be a reaper. TIM found a way to control Reaper forces, that's why they attacked Sanctuary. There's a vid Shepard plays during the mission where it will be mentioned that TIM or rather Miranda's father managed to use the Reaper signal against them to control them. The Reapers want to make sure this research is destroyed. As for your second point, TIM is all about control. He went mad for it, even going as far as integrating Reaper tech with himself to prove control is possible.

if T.I.M. was all about Control, why didn't he let Miranda put a control chip in Shepard like she wanted?

if T.I.M. was all about Control, why didn't he let Miranda put a control chip in Shepard like she wanted? TIM wanted the willpower and decisiveness of Commander Shepard. These things would be out the window if Shepard were being controlled. If Shepard is simply going to be a puppet then there's really no point to having him.

Even if they are an ally that kind of info leaking out would cause major problems.
